Having managed to get lucky and secure a pair of the Adidas Dublin reissues from Size this morning, it got me wondering how many other 'sneakerheads' there are on here?
I guessing there will be a few......

Each to their own but **** queing out all night for a pair of cheap Asian made trainers in the middle of winter. Size and Adidas marketing are very clever. There will be a full re-release in a year or two will there not? Sure they done this for munchens and trimm trabs, an exclusive limited edition then release them in different colour-ways etc.
Pair of ZX750's in the sales will do meLast edited by green&left; 17-11-2017 at 08:07 AM.

Boy at my work collects Air Max trainers, easily spends 500-1000 a month on them. Mental.

The down side is that every Jakeball, junkie and beggar I see seems to be wearing a pair. How the **** can they afford them?

Probably DLA. I know a guy who can't work because of his 'bad back' but can sit on a bar stool for hours every day. I'm certain he isn't the only one who if he didn't waste his money on drink could afford better clothes thanks me. Plus it's only 2 weeks between 'pay days'!

Is there money to be made by collecting trainers?
I hope so otherwise it's about as stupid a hobby as collecting train or bus numbers.
Stupider, in fact, as they cost money. Train spotting is free.

I queued a few hours for a pair of Adidas Stockholm a few years back but those were an expection, don't think I could hack queuing for every big release.
The problem with Size? is that even before these trainers are released you'll see them on eBay for 5/6x the RRP of the trainers. To me that is their staff taking them and punting them right away.

Find a pair of trainers, check they fit, ensure they're not luminous and then wear them until they fall off your feet then throw them away. Start the process again and repeat.

I'm a self confessed trainer abuser. I don't think I've ever owned more than 2 pair at any one time. What normally kills them off is the regular monthly washing machine cycle. Now golf shoes, my garage is full of those things.

Golf shoes stink, I have a few prs in the garage - not belonging to me
My 20 year old son has inherited my trainer obsession. We have been known to sit and google trainers together Although football boots are his passion.

Got a good few pairs myself. Current favourite pair are black gazelles with red trim and a gum sole.😍 also got a lovely pair of baby blue Stan Smith's that I'm fond of.they were also a bargain at 30 quid.
Size? Are a nightmare always looks like their staff help themselves 1st.

Someone close to me collects DVDs, videos and CDs. He's literally got thousands of each. He doesn't watch or listen to them. He just collects them.
I think he's off his head too.

Perhaps not collecting but a lad at work told me today that he just spent £700 on a pair of Louboutin trainers, they look like a pair of black plimsolls with studs on the toe.
Some folk have FAR too much money to spend/waste!

My mate collects adidas trainers.
At his wedding, the tables were all named after adidas trainers and he had pictures of his shoes on each table so you could find your place.
Re stinky golf shoes - whenever I get shoes wet I stick a tea bag in each one. I've not had any problems with trainers/ shoes/ boots starting to reek since I started doing this. I don't think it works if the shoes are already boufing though.
