Serial offenders Dundee at it again alongside the new club. Time for change.

Those accounts are 18 months old.

I'm not too keen on relying on a piece that says... cough... "(Hearts)... shouldn’t have too much to concern them even if their Europa league foray was short-lived they do have their new stadium almost complete and that should bring more revenue in."

That said, it's fairly common for companies that have had insolvency issues to have them again. The new version/company is often undercapitalised, (Livi and Dundee), or has legacy issues (Hearts), or are run by ****ing heid-cases (all of the above, plus RFC).....

How does this rule even work?

As can't remember Rangers balancing the books on their £50 million venture to the top flight.
When did Man City sell even a fraction of the amount they bought?

We don't have FFP rules in Scotland. They only have relevance for clubs in UEFA competitions. And the UEFA rules didn't exist in the EBT years.

Here's the latest on the Man City FFP "compliance":-

No strict liability, no financial fair play rules, some clubs fans able to sing about ancient religious hatred etc etc. Financial doping allowed with some clubs allegedly able to ask agents to collect monies instead of transfer fees to stiff clubs and players out of their rightful contracts etc etc. Appears that Scotland's clubs are operating in the okay corral anything goes arena. Dearie me.

I'd like to see the sfa and league authorities clearly state their position re THE rangers. I.e if they are considered to be the same club as the pre 2012 version then any future administration will result in a 25 point penalty, not 15 for a first offence. But i won't hold my breath.

The same- club debate is irrelevant, sadly. The 25 point penalty only applies in a second insolvency event in 5 years. That expired in February this year.

The rules are clear, though. They apply even when there has been a change of ownership of the club, as with Rangers. They would apply to Hearts as well
