N Ireland v Switzerland (Thurs and Sun)
Croatia v Greece (Thurs and Sun)
Sweden v Italy (Fri and Mon)
Denmark v Rep Ireland (Sat and Tues)
and for good measure the intercontinental playoffs
Honduras v Australia (Fri and Wed)
NZ v Peru (Fri and Wed)
Some pretty interesting match ups there. My own guessometer says Switzerland, Croatia, going for a bit of a shock with Sweden over Italy and I think Ireland.
Australia and Peru for the other two spots.

Peru is actually a 3am GMT kickoff Saturday morning. Hopefully they'll keep it tight in Wellington and then do the job back at home. Be great to see them at another big tournament. Wonder if BT sport or sky are showing it?

Would be great to see them get through for that alone (I'm too young to have been scarred by 1978).

Never a penalty but the Swiss take a deserved lead. NI not been at the races so far.

As I am moving to austrilia to coach football would be great of they could qualify and draw more interest to the sport.

After all the matches were played there was a sudden change of heart and seedlings were to be introduced. **** all to do with France and Portugal unexpectedly finishing in the play off positions of course. 😆
Makes you wonder, especially with sponsorship and money becoming more influential in the game as time passes.

The Michael O'Neill speculation is bound to start up again if/when they get knocked out.

Im dipping my toes in the unfamiliar waters of African football tonight, Senegal SouthAfrica live on BT sport now, Senegal qualify if they win. Mane playing, Senegal just scored 1-0 after 10 mins.

As said above, a WC without Italy just isn't right.
It's bad enough that Holland have missed out.
