Fabulous night. Getting to see my dad's face when he got to meet Pat Santon was worth the ticket money itself. Great club to be involved with and support

Great night. As you said, hearing rob jones fill up while talking about how nothing compared to lifting the cup with Hibs, not even winning promotion as captain with his boyhood team Sheffield Wednesday just shows what an incredible football club we are and how much the club gets under players skin. As Barcelona say, we are so much more than just a club.

Great great night. Shame they never done the best 11 “debate” that was scheduled but food was great, Luke Shanley hosted well and whole evening was top notch. Great to have Keith Wright and Boozy there too.

That would have been lovely for your dad. No one really understands just what Pat Stanton really means to Hibs as a player, manager and a living legend!
To have that effect on grown men is amazing and its down to the man himself and the way he conducts himself.
Last night i heard someone ask him if he was nervous about having to talk in front of the audience, he just said "im ready for any thing they throw at me,
Its the Hibs im talking about!"
He doesnt know just how much people admire him from his playing days and the profound effect he had on them.
Im glad your dad had the chance to meet his and my hero.

Disappointed that David Gray had to leave at the start and that there was no debate at all about the XI. That was a main attraction for me and I'm feeling short changed..
Not a bad night, captains all spoke well, but I can't say I'm overly impressed.

I'm nearly 68 yrs old , and have been privileged to meet Pat on 3 occasions , what a lucky man I am , as far as I am concerned there will never be another HIBBY like Pat , a true gent ,
P.S. Not frightened to admitt it I had tears in my eyes when he walked through the door with the cup.
