Almost started to think he was talking a bit of sense until the end when he was giving it all those that revelled in The Rangers misfortune over the last decade should have a rethink.

Aye right, cheating sods, wise up yah clown.

Consequences of what, Sounness you fool?

Rangers didn't go bust cos people don't like them.

The Rangers didn't need to work their way up the leagues because people didn't like them.

They are not a bitter, twisted mess of a club now because people don't like them.

When will 'the people' ever show an ounce of humility and take some responsibility for their own failings?

£140 million you say? But that wasn't their fault; it was the old company. Not the old club; it's the same club........

I thought Chick was going to cry.

Did he explain why he received an EBT ten years after he left rangers but 1 month after he gave them £1.3m of Blackburn’s money?

Willie Miller called it right. Good on him for voicing it so forcefully.

Small bitter anglified tw*t talks mince about something he has no recent knowledge.........he would fit in well back in Scotland.

That BBC "News" report was a disgrace along with the usual guff about how we need The Rangers, he basically had a 2 min advert on the BBC.

  15. #14
What a knob. Still peddling armageddon. Even Regan and Donkey stopped flogging that dead horse.

Nice trolling from Chris McLaughlin though, “looking at Rangers as a club, it’s almost unrecognisable from the one that you left.”

I thought Scottish Football was meant to have died 5 years ago when Rangers died and we wouldn't let Sevco join the top league straight away?

'Strong Rangers needed to stop Scottish Football from dying' - Translated : 'Rangers MUST be allowed to cheat again to stop Celtic getting 10-in-a-row' - simples !

'But the vast majority of Rangers supporters are realistic' - Have you looked at Hun-media recently ya clown !!

What a fud. Sell out ER last night, Pitoddrie tonight for midweek games on TV. Record numbers of ST holders at Hibs, Hearts, Dons and more. Talk of BT looking to outbid sky to improve the TV deal. Scottish football seems to be doing just fine with Rangers still a mess.

Mr Spewness is partially right. Scottish football does need challengers to the Celtc domination. He blindly assumes it must come from The Rangers however, if the game was run correctly by the authorities, adjustments would be made to encourage and enable all other teams to make a decent challenge. Alas, the blinkers are still on and will remain on as long as articles like this are given a forum and the game is controlled by patsies the likes of Donkey and Reagan.

Rangers going bust has nothing to do with why nobody in England cares about whats happening north of the border.

Sky's millions are to do with that, People down here were only interested in the 4 games they played anyway, not in Scottish football as a whole.

So piss of Souness, you know nowt about whats happening in the rest of the country, and how more clubs are actually thriving these days.

Plenty of folk on here say the game is dying too, although for different reasons. I still don’t know what they mean and I’ve been hearing it for years!

How will we know when it’s actually dead?

Just by those who get all excited by English football, latching onto whatever team happens to be going through a successful period. The amount of Man City fans in Scotland has went through the roof in Scotland these last 9 years. Previously it’s been Blackburn, Newcastle etc.
Scottish football is thriving just now. Crowds per head of population are the highest in Europe. What we have not done effectively is monetise the passion of football fans in Scotland because of the ineptitude of the people running our game, who still want it to be all about Rangers and Celtic.

He only wants one challenger when what Scottish football needs is challengers plural, as you stated. The financial divide means that won't happen in the league but us, Aberdeen or Motherwell (this season) can all beat Celtc to a cup. Sevco could do the same if they are run sensibly as could Hearts if they ever finish building the stand and then pay back Budge's 6.2% loans.
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

The league needs a strong challenge, wtf does it HAVE to be Rangers?

Bawbags the lot of them any 2 or 3 teams battling for the title until the final few games is a competitive league it can be any teams.

Souness is a highly conceited, back covering dinasour contributing nothing to 21st century Scottish club football.

He and his corrupt, pocket lining, defensive, cohorts Walter Smith, Derek Johnstone, Alex MacDonald, John Brown and the rest, are a perma stain on real club football in this country and have played a huge part in the discreditation of the game here.

    Rangers were liquidated. Fact.

Only the cowardly ineptitude of our 'authorities' allowed their bile to continue as a 'football club'. Fact

Club football and real fans have benefitted significantly since they have been weakened. Fact.

Souness couldn't give a flying fk about clubs in Scotland. Fact.

He is a half-brained, horrible twat who can shove his book up his Paco Rabanne douched a***hole. Fact.
