I use crowd scores but I noticed this season it doesn't seem as reliable as previous ones. Not sure why as it used to updated instantly after goals.

Sofa score is the fastest one I've seen so far. I used to think it was live score but that's been quite slow a few times recently.

The recent update to FlashScores was excellent. Can now click through player names and get stats for every player. It’s very fast in updating the scores too. The fact it covers loads of other sports is excellent. A one stop shop.

Flashes up when theres a goal in the game, and very accurate also.
You can also set it up in sections...for if you have more than one coupon on.

I use Live Scores but the Sky Sports Score Centre app also has an alert function which seems decent as well.
Slightly off topic but these apps are a nightmare if you are watching a live game on Now TV. There is a delay on it compared to Sky Sports through Sky/Virgin so you get the alert from the app ages before the incident happens on screen. I assumed the alert I got that Hibs had equalised vs Dundee was incorrect it took so long to see the goal on TV.

Heck some of the apps are so fast I swear I get a notification of a goal before I see it when I'm at Easter Road. :D

You can choose text to speech announcements as well (e.g. "Goal, Hibernian. Rangers 2 Hibernian 3" so you don't even have to take a neb at your screen when there's an alert. You get in-game table updates too and a nice little heat map to show how the game is going (dependant on coverage of course). You'll also get notifications of streamable / dailymotion links to goals / event as they are uploaded.
And - most importantly - you can mute notifications for specific matches (usually what I do, when I get "Team Line Ups announced" I click on the alarm bell to mute any more notifications for that game).

I refused to believe it when it told me Hibernian had scored in 90+2 to win the Scottish Cup, I was very glad to be wrong!

FootballWebPages have a tie-in with the Bostick Pub League and are pretty reliable for that level.
It also has a vidi-printer that allows you to choose leagues/matches.

Got it linked to my watch for updates. It’s usually pretty rapid.
(Not as quick as Hibs.net though).
