    UEFA solidarity payment

I take it that this means we get nothing(taken from the SPFL website

Ladbrokes Premiership clubs will tomorrow receive a record £4m from UEFA solidarity payments.

This significant financial boost is on the back of Celtic’s qualification for the group stage of last season’s Champions League.

The 11 other sides who played in the SPFL’s top division last year will each be given around £370,000 in solidarity payments, the largest such sum ever paid out to Scottish clubs.

This year’s total is more than double the £1.8m received last year and is 10 times the total of £400,000 paid out by UEFA to SPFL clubs in 2015.

Neil Doncaster, chief executive of the SPFL, said: “This is very welcome news and a further sign that clubs prospering in European football is a boon not just for them but for others in the Ladbrokes Premiership, too.

“Having a Scottish representative in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League enhances the profile of the SPFL and brings financial benefits to other top-flight clubs via these solidarity payments.”

Makes sense since it was for last seasons champions league. At least we'll benefit next season.

Bit of a kick in the baws for us, especially seen as we lost out on potential TV money last year when the Derby couldn’t be televised as it was on a Champions League night.

I wondered about whether we would or not get it, but on STV sport last night it said Hibs and Hearts would get monies from the pot?

It was after that he said it was for teams in the Premiership last season?

Just have to wait and see!!!

I think they just made a mistake. We won't get anything.
