12th October is one for me.
40 years ago today on 12th October 1977 I went to Wales v. Scotland at Anfield in one of my most memorable Scotland games.
Up to Edinburgh from Macmerry and into Jinglin Geordie on Fleshmarket Close before Soccer Special from Waverley to Liverpool.
21st May is another that will stay in my mind forever.

22nd October is one for me. What a night under the floodlights giving the yams a good spanking.
That, for me was my absolute pinnacle of footballing entertainment until a certain day in 2016........... My lad doesn't know how lucky he is (as he keeps pointing out to me!

Apart from the obvious stuff, the 8th of August 1992. It was the day of my first wedding with my ex-wife comeing from a family of mega-huns. We were playing Rangers at ER and throughout the afternoon I had won of my pals checking on the score (not so easy in the days before everyone had mobile phones) so I could slip something into my speech. The 0-0 result wasn't as good as I'd hoped for.

27th October 1985
We got pumped 3 nowt by the sheep in the league cup final.
I remember as I was getting real grief from my wife (now ex) as it was her birthday... and .. she was pregnant with our first child .. WHICH WAS DUE ON THAT DAY.
Needless to say I had a crap day .. but the sing song on the bus back from the game was a giggle being half goosed.. as I was 3 days later when the first of my new generation of our Hibs family finally made her big entrance

Wednesday 1st July 2015. Passed my driving test first time with only 4 minor errors. I surprise myself sometimes, I'm part of the 21% of first time pass drivers.

27/10/85. My first trip to Hampden with Hibs at 13 years old.
I was in Holland on a youth club trip for the two weeks beforehand, so I didn't know until I got back on the Saturday whether my gid auld maw had got me a ticket or not! She had. 😁
Oh, and being on the actual pitch of our Natch stadium, 21/5/16 😁 👍
