I agree with this but I think it's tougher at football grounds. Most US sports and cricket matches over here last for much longer periods - at the Test grounds you have various stalls doing fish or scampi and chips, Indian food, Chinese food, burgers and hotdogs, bratwurst and pizza etc etc as well as places doing doughnuts and other sweets. The market is there because you have people in relative captivity for several hours.

With football here you have two real pressure points - just before kick-off and half-time, with some sales during the first half. It's also much smaller numbers generally. The other factor is that at the cricket, the concourses usually allow you to walk right round, so they don't face the issue at Hibs of having to provide numerous sets of catering facilities for each stand/tier, doing relatively small business.

Good point mate but going forward its part of improving the match day experience. You mention the two real pressure points, well the first pressure point before kick off, why not make this part of the match day experience, get people in far earlier, entertain them, feed them water them, especially families that may not want to attend the various local breweries pre match, or even offer something to entice those that do want to attend local local alehouses pre match. Go to match in Germany for instance to see how tis can work. Its win win. The fan gets better service and a better Hibs experience and club makes more money. The game in the UK is really backward at this. Decent at catering for corporate but what about the rest of us?

Would agree with that. Been to see Bohemians in Prague a couple of times, they have a small stadium, maybe 4-5,000 but have a couple of beer stalls and klabasa vendors in the space outside the stand. It’s always stowed out with all age groups in the run-up to kick-off. You've scanned your ticket before you get there though so I’m not sure how practical it would be here?
There's only one thing better than a Hibs calendar and that's two Hibs calendars
