The starting XI and the bench is etched onto my brain forevermore.

    I even remember Chris Dagnall.
The look of surprise (and smile) on his face was a picture when he played for Crewe at Cheltenham last season, I somehow don't think he expected one daft Hibby to give him a rousing rendition of '' there's only one Chris Dagnall'' quite a few perplexed looks on the faces of some Cheltenham fans as well, even a couple of my mates I go with had to have it explained to them and one of them is a plastic hun, he still gets it tight every time i see him

got tears in my eyes again.............WHAT a day that was !
The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits

The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they do not know the game

Who can forget the wonderful Rob Kiernan's contribution to that great day. The way he just casually jogged alongside Stokes for the opener, never at any stage getting any closer to him or narrowing the angle. A fantastic contribution.
The wee guy they had on loan from Arsenal as well. Was delighted when I seen him announced in the starting 11. A few decent flashes in previous weeks from him but knew that final wouldn't be a game for him. Our midfield 3 ran all over him.

Two big ones - Nicky Clark being the one to fall over the ball and give us the throw in on 90 minutes, and Barrie McKay giving us the most celebrated Hibs goal kick in history on 93 minutes.
