... lol, so you would ...... but so far as I know Aberdeen long with the ugly sisters and Yams has always been cat 'A' since they started giving games designations, in the case of Aberdeen I think the designation is more related to the size of their away support compared to other clubs and the possibility of trouble at the match being higher than normal rather than the price folk would be willing to pay to see us play them.

I think the polis designate this as a high risk game.

Dunno why, it's been a while since anybody threw any petrol bombs in Princes St.

Can anyone remember if the polis put up the big barrier outside the club shop after the game v sheepies? or is just the Cat A games.....not that I'm looking to start anything like

Its a pain having to walk down St. clair street and back up.

Tickets have been on sale for weeks.

They can be bought by calling the ticket office, by using a mobile phone or PC, or in person, right up till 1.00pm on the day of the game.

All the poor souls who can't make a decision before then will just have to miss out.
    Yep, I agree.

Seems to me the cops cant wait to park that thing. We must be the only club in the world that keep the home fans behind and let the away fans leave. The fans reps should meet the Police and demand that changes. Keep them back FFS.

Its more to do with geography around ER, there could be clashes on Bothwell street and ER itself if we all leave at the same time, especially if the game has been really controversial or the result hasn't gone our way. Away fans leaving first gives the police more control.

Perhaps there are no tickets on sale tomorrow as they know the ticket office staff will have their hands full dealing with a large queue of fans picking up tickets for the semi final next week.

£6.50 postage probably means that more people than usual will be planning to collect before tomorrow’s game.

I thinks it's more to do with Bothwell bridge...away fans don't leave first, there is simply a diversion of some of the Hibs support away from Albion Road / Bothwell Bridge to avoid congestion and allow easier egress for the south and west stands.

    nope.
Just three seats left in the FF. None in the East or West.

I assume that 31 and 32 will be opened if needed.

Its the time they take that pisses me off (always has)

My dad really struggles with his walking now even getting from the west to meadowbank retail park where we park on his disabled badge - if they make us wait / walk round, then I suspect he might call it a day (for the big matches anyway).

Might have to collar a plod en route tomorrow to find out if they intend doing it post match.

What is the reasoning for making available only half of section 27?

I assume they have maybe gave Aberdeen 4 of the upper blocks and 3 of the bottom meaning only half of 27 available to hibs fans to avoid oposition fans being directly above? or for the segregation line.

I think there allocation is 2,300 about 2/3 of the stand so would make sense.

I'm trying to buy tickets online for me and my dad but there isn't an option to pick them up at the ticket office, only special delivery or first class post, anyone got any ideas what to do?

Both sides of St Clair St are reserved for blue badge holders, much closer than Meadowbank

Believe it or not they had it up for the hibs Sunderland game pre season, I waited about 10 mins but I think it was up for a while before I got there. Stevenson done a lap round the pitch that I stayed for iirc

Thanks, don't think he fancies St Clair, because it will be rammed post match and take forever to get away after.

I will speak to him about that tomorrow.

116 tickets left with sales, as per Hibs advice ceasing at 1pm.

I assume Hibs will open the two top tiers of the South Stand above where tickets have been sold to Hibs supporters.

So that should make (say) another 700 tickets available?

If those areas were going to be open then I would have thought they'd be on sale already given Hibs having to set a deadline. Could be wrong though.

Just found out I can go, thankfully there was a few tickets left, buzzing for this now. I think if you look at the plan 31/32 won't be able to open if aberdeen have been given all of 33 as the segregation would have to be over the only entrance to 31/32
