Came across a reference to Hibs winning something called the Norfrost Cup in 1995/96. It seems to have been a competition that only ran for about 4 years. Hamilton, Inverness and East Fife were the other winners. Must be my old age as I've got no recollection of that whatsoever. Can anybody explain what that competition was?

I should add that Norfrost at the time was the biggest employer in Caithness.

Where did you come across this reference?
I've never heard of it despite being a season ticket holder and away regular around that time.

This is a new one on me too. The texaco cup and other ideological trophies spring to mind but I've never heard of the Norfrost

Were these the games we played at Murrayfield because the North and South stands weren't finished?

I see from this that Hibs also won the Inverness Tournament in 1978/79, don't remember that either
