    It can't be GMS.

    He's not black.

Is this not an old story about Jinki Johnstone going out in a rowing boat from Largs the day before a Scotland International match?

Apparently he was bevvied and got into (or was on the outskirts of) some kind of altercation and chose to extract himself from it by hopping over a wall, somehow blissfully unaware that the River Kelvin was on the other side.

An idiot of gargantuan proportions in other words.

Bit of a nasty tone to this thread considering we don't know for sure which player that it is (not that it matters) and that they may well be in very critical condition.

That is a bit of a cop out from the media. We can assume he got wet at least.

Not really much dafter than what some of our players have been up to in the past.

Get the paper-selling headline in first as usual. When was GMS ever a star for Celtic? Bit player at best.

Hope it wasn't a cry for help, and was some kind of silly prank instead. He was in the water a long time, he's a very lucky man.

To be fair, the Evening Times is a Glasgow paper...

That's what I mean. Any connection to the OF is over emphasised to get the hook headline. Normal practice, I know, but it irks me.

A young boy from East Kilbride died falling in to the Clyde not that long ago after a night out so I'd say that he's very fortunate.

If he suffered from mild hypothermia the Kelvin must have been quite low.....I'll get my coat.
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

    This.

Really 'hope' this was just an accident or prank gone wrong and nothing more concerning.

To be totally fair I don't think celtc have ever had anyone else connected to them falling in the river in this way so he is a star in that respect.

A falling star, or is it fallen? It's hard to tell with divers.
