    Dundee - Hibs

Anyone know if Quinn's or any other pubs are likely to be showing the Dundee match tomorrow in London?

Aye - 100% on at Quinn's. Not exactly sure what the menu is (or this weeks wine) as Pierre hasn't sent through any info.

Get there early and remember that there's a strict no jeans/trainers policy still in operation.

Hi, I am hoping to come along to Quinns and then head straight over to the South West 4 festival (tough life I know!).
The point being that I would want to be wearing jeans and canvass shoes and probably for the festival really. Will I really not be allowed in like that?!

Come to the side door that leads directly into the Piano Bar and you'll be fine. You won't get access into the brasserie, but if you're heading straight off and not staying for a meal then it won't matter.

    See you there.

Its a shame to see standards slipping at such an esteemed high end establishment. Slovenly apparel worn by the patrons is the first sign of a downwards spiral.

It is indeed. I hope standards will be back to normal when I return in December.

Did you have to pull some strings to get them in or was it pretty relaxed on Sunday?

It was 30C on Sunday and Pierre (after gentle persuasion) relaxed the attire rule (thankfully) - I shudder to think what the temperature was in the kitchen as the brasserie was absolute stacked out.

I need to post a message before the next televised match about the dress code, as it most certainly won't be scorchio then.

I understand it was rather warm but standards are standards! What did they do when we didn't have AC and society didn't tolerate anything but full attire? They got on with it. Can't be slipping IMO.

I know it sounds harsh but I'm a hardliner on this subject as you well know.
