These types of incidents normally start with fans shouting something offensive before the player/manager reacts. That's never saved the player/manager from being charged in the past.

I'm quite sure Lennon was subjected to some pretty vile abuse yesterday and whilst it certainly explains his behaviour, I don't believe it will be enough to save him from being charged with misconduct.

The suggestion that the police should be getting involved is just nonsense and if someone does report it to the police, they should be the ones charged with wasting police time.

Apologies I may have confused you with another poster mate...i still disagree he should be charged by SPFL though and no punishment for the Orcs for their bigoted chants...if it does come to pass I hope LD and Hibs fight it tooth and nail

I think so, although when I first read it I thought it must have originated from Traynor as it sounded just the kind of thing he would write.

This is Sevco's way of venting in public without the SFA being able to say anything. Not that they would anyway.

I back Lennon 100% over this. He's a deep thinker and he completely "gets" the whole Ibrox situation and the role he plays in this. Anyone who has any doubts about his choice to react should take a look at his pre-match interview on Hibs TV prior to the Sevco game. For far too long we have been a soft touch and now we have a manager who not only fights his own corner but more importantly that of everyone associated with Hibernian Football Club.
