Our strongest squad since the League Cup winners

With a better manager, in a weaker league. What do you guys think?

Still think 06-07 squad better, more up front and a dream midfield.

But we are still very strong and delighted.

Whatever the merits of this current squad in comparison to past ones.
    One thing is for sure
The hopes and sense of anticipation among the supporters this pre season is certainly higher than i can recall for a very long time.

    We've got high hopes !!
Good times to be a Hibernian

I was in Cyprus on holiday in June
Wearing a Hibernian t shirt at the hotel bar.
The Cypriot barman knew about "The Exuberance Final"
    Brilliant feeling it was.
He got the t shirt before we left.

    It's certainly a strong squad.
    GK: Rocky, Laidlaw
Def: Gray, Whittaker, Hanlon, Fontaine, Stevenson, Ambrose, McGregor, Porteous, Crane
Mid: McGinn, Bartley, McGeouch, Swanson, Slivka, Martin, F.Murray
Att: S.Murray, Boyle, Matulevicius, Graham, Shaw and likely Stokes.

Whitty, Efe & Hanlon can play in midfield if called upon, Swanson as a Striker. Still think another wide player and CM would make us absolutely solid.

Great window and squad so far.

We could probably play two teams that would each be fairly decent.

I think it's definitely one of our strongest squads although I think jury is out for now as to whether it's better than the 06/07 squad. That said it, will be great to see Slivka and Big Dave in action and also see who else NL has in mind baring in mind there has been mention of Commons once fit and I would also like to see another Boyle esq winger in the squad.

As a life long Hibby, I don't do high expectations when it comes to pre-season teams on paper and performance on the park. Been here too many times before.
