I think somebody said previously as well that the game had wrongly been announced as cancelled, due to the bad weather.

Anyway, back to today's game.
Looks like it's not gonna be a sell out after all but we're going to start the season in front of an 18k+ crowd, which is pretty amazing.

I prefer to remember Franck Sauzée and Russel Latanya playing for Hibs in the second tier.

I think we've already passed that barrier but, yes, it would be nice to have Fans in the Upper Tier as well.

Saturday’s game against Partick Thistle marks Hibernian’s return to the Ladbrokes Premiership after a three-year absence, with the game almost completely selling-out.
It is set to be a busy day all around the stadium with a bumper crowd anticipated and various new facilities being open for supporters of all ages to use ahead of the match.
Tickets
Tickets are priced at £22 for adults and £12 for concessions, and are currently available to buy online and at the Hibernian Ticket Office from 10am – with the option to print at home to avoid the queues on the day of the game.
Supporters are strongly encouraged to buy online if they are planning to attend as tickets may not be available from the Ticket Pods ahead of the matchLast edited by lucky; 05-08-2017 at 10:13 AM.

I see that online it's showing all sections red, but assume that they're not letting anyone buy tickets on line anymore.
The key point is if you want a ticket get down to ER early.
If we win today, I can see an even higher demand for future games.

I thought it looked a bigger attendance than the St mirren game but I was obviously wrong.

I think last season they announced tickets sold whereas today actual attendance ? Famous 5 looked about 70% full from the west.

what happened to the supposed 1800-2000 harry wraggs i counted only 1123 :) might have been less though as i started getting double vision, no wonder some partick fans were wondering where the heck the prospect of such a large away support was coming from

They sold out their initial allocation of 1,000 and were given a further 400 tickets.
I think some people got carried away and thought they would sell them all.
p.s. I think they announced 17,638, which is an amazing attendance.Last edited by Keith_M; 05-08-2017 at 06:05 PM.
