McGeouch, Hanlon, Graham, McGregor and now the 2 Liths and possibly Stokes, plus a myriad of youngsters, to fit into the eleven who started last night.

    Interesting days ahead.
And the league season hasn't started yet, don't know why there was so much impatience on here lately. We have a strong manager and backed by one of the country's best chief executives

We've been playing very nicely as well in the last games, we can only get better too, very optimistic for the season ahead !

Our last two signings have been proven internationals and both of them a good age as well .... Slivka has been out on loan at a few decent clubs so he certainly has some good experience behind him, I would imagine its neigh on impossible to break into the first team at Juventus, in view of which his ability certainly cant be judged on that.

The only thing bothering me is that every time we get a player from Celtic or who has played for Celtic the Yams accuse us of being 'diet Celtic' .... now we have signed two Lithuanians does that make us 'diet Hearts?' ......

Anyway ...... welcome to the Hibees big man
I could just about live with diet Juve.

No thinking about it, we arent diet anybody. We are Hibs, we rule supreme.

I'm raging that Sutton let the cat out of the bag. If this announcement was the first we'd heard about him it would be glorious.

Certainly didn't look out of place in that game, nice play for the goal.

An interview here from when he was on loan at Den Bosch in Holland last year, seems to speak really good English.

    https://youtu.be/JgRa3Du3Ruo?t=341

From the highlights i've seen of him he's not 6"3. Probably about 6 feet.

Does this mean we now have a special relationship with Juventus?

Or do we have to bump them for the fee first?

Feel a bit sorry for Juventus. Losing Pogba last summer and now Slivka this summer.

This guy is the real deal. Once we get another striker (Stokes?) we are beginning to build an excellent squad.

Still room for one or two more, you just need to look how congested the fixtures are in some months to see we need a big squad.

Think we need a striker (time we looked elsewhere, as if Stokesy was really keen to play for us again, he'd have accepted our offer by now) and another wide player and that'll be us, unless McGinn was to leave.

Slivka looks to be a really exciting signing. Look forward to his debut, hopefully this Saturday.

I had Nemanja Matic in my head, but now I've seen this I'm slightly worried. Interesting signing though, looking forward to seeing him in action.

Just watched some youtube highlights, looks a class act! Big lad but creative, neat and good with his feet also. Set up Lithuanians goal against us in the qualifiers

I'd rather be 'diet Celtic' than 'Hun clones' any day.

I'd rather think of the situation as "Hibernian and Juventus - Partners in Excellence".

How many current full internationals do we have on our books now?

This is worrying me as well I must admit.
Before we know it we'll be bumping charities, not paying wages, stealing poppies and screaming at folk that we're a big famous team. We better not start signing World Cup stars now.

If he hasn't won the confederations cup single handedly I'm not interested.

That Agent Scotland twitter account is reporting he's cost us £62.5k...

Have we bagged a bargain here?
Like the vast majority of blowhards on Twitter, he knows that the only people who can state definitively that he's talking pish will just ignore him, if they even know he exists.

Folk build reputations and make a living nowadays on just making stuff up when they don't know anything, I'm afraid.
