    I figure in an 8 team league you'll never struggle to pick up a passable K or D off the waivers to play the match ups, so you should stock up on RB's and WR's in the draft. Last season my top two RB's went down injured before the 3rd week of fantasy, so it's always worth having RB1 or RB2 quality in reserve in case something like that happens.

    Shhhh.... Picking defense and kickers before the final two rounds is a stellar strategy & I recommend everyone does it

    Fair enough but personally I don't draft a kicker until right at the end as there's not a great deal of difference between them all.

    So many strategy experts

    Rather have a settled team and worry about back ups after. Suppose in a smaller league it's less important as everyone should be able to put out a strong team each week.
