What a dirty player he is. He reminds me of Jim Goodwin.
Thank goodness football is coming back, great to be back at ER again.

He should have been off regardless of it being a pre-season game

It seems at every level of football that the hatchet man always has his shirt tucked in and his shorts pulled up ridiculously high. Goodwin always did that and Cattermole was the same today.
Limited player and a total thug.

That's his game. Always has been and always will. To be fair to him he was the first Sunderland player to applaud Lewis off the park.

I never saw the tackle as was in the toilet but heard the crowds reaction. From what I heard from the folk around me when I got back to my seat, it was a straight red.

His insistence on pulling his shorts half way up his chest has always made him look like a wee gimp. Very limited footballer as well, he should be playing at League 1/2 level.

I thought he played well, particularly the first 20 mins or so of the second half.
