Football is all about kicking a ball in earnest during an actual football match, it's not about just belonging to a football club, irrespective of what your role is. I suspect Henderson is presently satisfied with the latter and willing to sit it out till his ship comes in. I think he's good enough to secure a place in their team but the way they keep scouting and bringing in players suggests that Henderson is taking a big gamble.

If he has ambitions to make it to the top he needs to move so he's playing football every week. If he is good enough (and I believe he is) then he will get big moves.

Don't know how it will pan out with him.

Every time somebody posts something positive somebody else pops up with the opposite view regarding to him coming.

Certainly a lot more positive about Steven Whittaker coming than I am about Liam Henderson, time will tell.

Liam is much younger, has a fantastic character (which is even more valuable now that Jase has gone) and is quality at set pieces

Whilst im not disagreeing with you or defending Celtic here, I believe Boyce only went for the amount he did because of a release clause in his contract.

I believe Burton didn't need to meet the buy out clause for RC to agree the sale. Original bid from Burton was about £300k & they didn't up it by 66% to get agreement. Only way deal will hit £500k is if Boyce & club meet certain targets.
