    The 2017/18 Scottish Cup

Simply, how far up our list of priorities is it?

Scenario one, 7th place in league and win the cup.

Scenario two, 6th place or higher with no cup.

    Thoughts?

I'd take 3rd bottom and a cup win.

I don't think you're being cheeky, it will be interesting to see what the priorities are for some.

I can think of about 9 other scenarios, all of them with a cup win.
10 different if you include the one about Hertz going down into the bargain.
11 if you take the Huns into the play offs as well., 12 if they get beat in them.
13 if its Administration that took them there.
14 if it's Administration that took both them there.

I'd happily take 7th place and a Scottish Cup triumph.

i'd take this every season. People remember cup wins, not 2nd/3rd/4th place finishes.

Don't think there us a link. Might win it and have no effect on where we end in league. Might win it and end up higher cause of the buzz on the way to the final. Might win it and end up lower cause of the extra games. As long as we give ut our best shot to win it. Pointless question until we know what happens at end of season 😁

I want to finish 2nd next season. If that's at the expense of a cup win then so be it.

Hope we end this 1 year cup jinx, it's getting embarrassing.

As great as our Cup win was, we can never be choosy about when the next one will come around. When it happens, it will be magnificent regardless of league position.

Both, but then I'm a realist.

We'll have a strong enough squad that top six is inevitable and Scottish Cup wins are like buses, you wait 114 years for one and three arrive at once.

I'd rather finish 2nd bottom and win the cup, than finish 2nd and not win the cup.

    This.

We aren't in Europe or the Challenge Cup so there's no problem in budgeting or planning for all of the domestic competitions. A decent cup run in either trophy would be great, we've had excitement until the end of the last few seasons, would be good to be in the same position during 17/18.
