    Fixture Announcement on Friday

    Right folks, with only 6 weeks until the start of the new season, who would everyone like to see us get first few games of the season ??

    For me Hamilton (H) Gray & McGregor suspended so would like a nice start
    Motherwell (A)
    Yams (H)

    My hearts telling me that I want Rangers or Hearts at home but my heads telling me 3 easiest games to start the season. Having said that, hearts would be a pretty easy game.

    Motherwell (H)
    Dundee (A)

    Home to Motherwell/Killie or someone along those lines. Followed by a tough away game and then Hearts at home.

    Why do we have to accommodate Hearts?

    That would put us at a disadvantage come the end of the season.

    We play our fixtures as normal, with Hearts playing their Home games later on in the season on the Sunday's when we have home games on the Saturdays.

    Don think thats the case mate. I used to think this, but sure Celtic a few times have played away on the first game when they were champions.
    based on Hearts playing away I assume we will have a home game though.

    Opening fixture -

    Hearts v Celtic
    The Rangers v Hamilton

    So while the Championship winners got a home game, the Champions didn't.

    Confused.

    I think though knowing Scottish football and the Hearts situation, we will definitely be at home first up.

    It was related to Celtic playing their glamour friendly and that can only happen when they are due to have a home league game

    I'm not suggesting that Hibs will accommodate them but the SPFL will. One home game out of the first four, which they can rearrange, will suit them nicely and it's exactly what I expect to see. And it won't be a game against Hibs, Celtic, The Rangers or Aberdeen.

    Id be suprised if we played them on the 27th as its a wednesday and not a public holiday, unless its played at night, which would amazing as Im off form 20th till 3rd jan
