Cladding (and even blockwork) still not finished and the school end only accessible if you have 4 wheel drive.

Remember her statement she said something along the lines of, "everything that needs to be done to open the stand will be done by September, except the seats." Seems like no one else does, jambos or press. Unless by "seats" she meant "main power supply, turnstiles, toilets, plaza and safety testing."
She doesn't care much for being honest.

Has the Rubic Cube stand got an electricity supply yet? Last I heard they were still running everything off temporary generators. Surely they are hooked up to the mains by now?
Hooked up to the mains? Wouldn't surprise me if, a few months down the line, it comes out that Hearts have been running off the High School's electricity.

That bottom picture, I presume that's 3 turnstiles? doubling up as a storage shed?

Don't they need to build a perimeter wall of some sort as well?

I thought it was the additional bogs that Budgie mentioned when explaining the cost increases.

The worst part of that article is All is Barry describing the issuing of a public safety certificate as a 'rubber stamp'. Arrogant complacency.
I noticed that as well. Forgive my puzzlement, but doesn't the phrase 'rubber stamp' suggest something which is approved without scrutiny? Add the word 'required' to that and it demonstrates the huge arrogance of everyone connected to that f*** up of a club

The one thing I truly don't get is why she didn't just admit that it was running miles behind schedule, unless it was to keep the GFA / SPFL onside.

A blind man could have seen that there was no way the stadium would have been anything like ready by the end of August (seats excluded)

Does she not think that such blatant and fragrant lies make her look stupid and remove her credibility, having said that that lot would believe anything if it retained their self-importance

It is a horrible monstrosity that mirrors the rest of the stadium in looking cheap and nasty, but that excepted they do seem to finally be making progress.

The construction costs must be rocketing and it looks like a 4 year old's mecanno project gone horribly wrong

"This weekend sees the Heart and Soul of Edinburgh - the club that wouldn't die - return to it's spiritual home Tynecastle Park. On Sunday, our stunning new main stand awaits all you loyal fans. After a few minor hiccups, the colossal grandstand which befits our colossal club will open starting a new dawn for Heart of Midlothian (and yes, it'll sell chips!). The fact that the grand opening comes just a week after the UK celebrated our clubs most famous victory - WW1 - only highlights how grand this club trully is. The new grandstand complete with rooftop terrace and fully functional escalator will attract the world's best performers such as Beyonce and U2 who must be eager to play in one of the most atmospheric arenas in the world. I'd like to thank YOU, the best fans in the world for saving this magnificent club from the ashes dispite the best efforts of the creditors we borrowed money from. We move forward and our next goal is securing that Champions League place we all feel is rightfully ours. Enjoy the game this weekend and even more importantly....enjoy the chips!" Ann Budge statement just released.

Given that what will eventually open, be it this weekend or in another week or two, will be little more than the shell of the stand, they should, in hindsight, have agreed a season-long lease with Murrayfield and avoided this entire fiasco. Even allowing for the incompetent way it's been handled, even the yams would surely have managed to get it finished for next season.

Problem is, they can't afford to do that and these endless missed deadlines show how much pressure the club is under to start generating some money.

No, no we are all just bitter and seething really.
I'll seethe bitterly when it actually is open and signed off as finished since that episode of entertainment will have closed.

Just 3 shabby stands to upgrade. Non eufa compliant pitch and the 3rd biggest capacity stadium in the city to live with.

I'll soon be over it as soon as they start paying for it and episode 2 begins. They still have Potter and his many signings representing them on the pitch.

Why can't they just play with 3 stands? We did that when we did the West
They have 14k season ticket holders, away fans that have bought tickets plus any other yams who had pre purchased a ticket. 19000 into 13500 seats doesn’t go. 😂

That's actually a really good name for the stand: Budgie's Cludgie.

Or as it's currently known, Budgie's Unfinished Cludgie.

Tough titties! Shouldn’t sell tickets for something that won’t be opened in time. That’s up to them to find a solution to the problem that they ave caused.

As far as I know, thats it. Right there behind the media. All the way to back of that section (possibly 2 sections).

Basically think about our east stand. Go to the half way line of it and sell the tickets in that section at an increased rate and tell the purchaser that its an executive seating area. oh, and you get free chips at half time if you sit there*

In front of the media bit behind the dug out so Potter can go back there when he quits the manager role.
