    From Wikipedia:

"Budge was awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year" by the Entrepreneurial Exchange in 2005 and was then inducted into the Entrepreneurial Exchange Hall of Fame in November 2013. She is listed as a role model by the Women's Engineering Society.
Ann is an Honorary Graduate of Heriot-Watt University and Edinburgh Napier University."

No offence, but are those REAL Universities? Surely they're just technical colleges for the sons and daughters of the artisan classes?

    Not real universities.

And how can a woman think of studying engineering when most of them can't work out how the simple hinge that is the toilet seat works?

Heriot-Watt is a real university, I know as I spent 4 years there getting real drunk; Napier is just a rebranded Polytech however

OK, I'll just give you H-W; it's been around for a while.

But I have to say that IMO if you can remember your time at University, you really weren't there.

    Ah, Sandy Bell's .....

Sir Tom Farmer hardly needs a Dr in front of his name. He also had a Papal knighthood and the Polish equivalent.

At MY University we got 'parchments' to tell us how brainy we were.

    In Latin and all.

Rolled up and stuffed in a choob.

I still cannae remember what I was supposed to be studying.

I know I learned how to home-brew a beer that could make you blind.

And a number of novel and interesting facts about young ladies.

    And older ones too.

Pretty much sums up both clubs

Hearts grasping for any sort of reason to lord it over people and giving themselves self-congratulatory nicknames like the big team and the famous thinking themselves far more important than they actually are owned by Dr Budge.

While we have an owner with a knighthood and more letters after his name than you can shake a stick at earned through a lifetime of business acheivement and charitable virtue

Agree. They're probably queuing up for surgery they're that stupid. And paying for it.

Was the statement the other week not a thesis? Felt long enough.

Not her fault that the questioning hasn’t been up to scratch.
She would fall at the first hurdle for spelling errors

Why is the sole owner Ann Budge referring to herself as "We"? Has she started to beLIEve the simple fans' "queen" chat?

He's the guy that's building the stand.

That looks great. Winter matches are going to be special as you approach down McLeod Street. Hopefully we light up the ground with the football as well.*

It looked really good, much better than the photo. Was chatting to a guy coming off site, and he said that the insides are going to be absolutely stunning, at least the equal of anything in Scotland,*and the actual stand itself is quite breathtaking to sit in.*

More drugs. If you're used to a crumbling wooden asbestos stand then I suppose it would be breathtaking

Project Manager, he won the job in a raffle at a Hearts fundraiser. The boys made a decent fist of the job to be fair

Apparently he's got his own pens, a pencil, and a sharpener. Mrs Budge is going to announce this significant leap forward in her next sermon.

Are they installing washed out seating ? Is that the latest craze like denim ? The seats look like they have been in the sun for years, I wonder if they are recycled..............

The badges look honking on the seats
