The 'carehome pink' that we can see is the colour of Gyproc fireline board - it's to easily distinguish it from standard plasterboard.
So they've still got to paint it?

Surprised they’re bothering to be honest.

'Care home pink' sums this up perfectly. I'm impressed with the way that the breeze block moves seamlessly to plasterboard in this shot. In fact, I almost didn't notice and had to study it carefully to see the join. I'm so glad that Queen Anne insisted on upgrading the serveries. Can't wait to see the bogs.

Wonder if the serving staff will be rigged out in maroon and care-home-pink outfits?
According to Alan Preston? on the radio yesterday, the toilets are going to be 'FULLY FUNCTIONAL' (his description) in this new £12m stand.
Now that's what I call impressive

If there's a man that knows what a fully functional toilet looks like it's him.

A career spent talking the finer points of waste disposal when the folk that pay his wages thought he was a football commentator.

Do any other football teams in the world have toilets that work or is this another first that they'll be hyping quite soon before announcing the latest non completion date (delay is such an unsophisticated word for such a highly sophisticated design).

They're now selling tickets for the next 5 home games, at Tynie. Looks like they're finally getting it (partially) open.
Not necessarilly. If it still isn't ready I reckon they will just start postponing games.

Presumably if they have the best lavs in the world they’ll be flushed with success.

Looks as complete as the other three stands. Looking good and ready for chip frying.
Have the fryers started a fire that burnt that bit down?

Now i'm not usually a cynic, but a convenient postponement, or two, while they have an injury crisis, and a confidence crisis...well.well.well....

Can they do that though? I mean, does 'our new stand's still not ready and Murrayfield's not available this weekend' count as a valid reason for postponement? I'd have thought they'd incur at least a fine, if not docked points for that.

Harry '****ting it in 1986' Potter will be testing each one personally. Another expert niche role he has at Tiny.

    I Got a feeling.......

There will be a further announcement in a day or two....... Blah, Blah, Blah but essentially we wont be ready till the year end. (ish).

NO EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT THIS WILD STATEMENT but I'm sure that Dr B will be along soon to contradict me if I'm wrong.

I’m completely blown away by how insipid and cheap the whole project looks. World class according to Kiwidoug as well. What a total balloon that boy is.

When you take into consideration just how 'tiny' their world is over the road, it probably is.

I stopped by in Mcleod Street about 4PM today. The piazza or what ever they call it and the Gorgie end exit are nearly complete but the Roseburn end has a good bit to go .

While I was there Doctor Budge emerged from the world class erection with 2 or 3 builder boss looking chappies.

Under her maroon hard hat she had a face like thunder so that might be an indication of progress inside or maybe she's just been told of more additional costs and the Gorgie coo's been milked dry.

The other 3 stands are supposed to hold 12,809 but I think that's a slight over-estimate
I think you are right it is a bit lower.
    See http://www.heartsfc.co.uk/pages/historytynecastlestadium

    Figures seem to be:
    Wheatfield - 5902
    Roseburn - 3436
    Gorgie - 3160

    Total - 12598

Tiny is going to look a lot better but they seem to have spend so much (circa £15m) to raise capacity so little.

Hmmm.... fixed that for you. Of course she may just look like that every day?

They appointed a window cleaner too. Hope they agreed a fee up front.

    “Piazza”. 🤣

Talk about giving their mind a treat.

The only piazza’s round there will be cheese and tomato ones.

I got the figures from the new stand planning application - stadium exiting statement.

    That has, Wheatfield - 5918
    Roseburn - 3551
    Gorgie - 3340

That's 12,809 but if anyone fancies doing a dot count.

    Karma I believe it's called...
Shafted businesses and charities galore and now they've been stung for £15M!
What have they got to show for it?
A cheap as 'chips' dreary stand based on the early 1990s design of their other three stands with a crappy office block bolted on to the front of it, giving them world class views of a modern studies classroom.

Piazza - they think they are building an Italian masterpiece. It's a dump in Gorgie.
