Honestly that's been designed and fitted out by two,not one but actually two Lithuanians who are desperate to get their old age pension money back from them and have the final laugh.

I personally think it's lovely and they should knock down the other stands and make us extremely jealous by spending another 6 years of FOH money building the other three stands.

Wasn’t aware there was any hospitality in the south end of main stand. The parts I’ve been in are in the centre and north.
I was in hospitality a few years back and you could watch the teams warming up etc, it's the suite that gives access to the padded seats in the west lower. Don't know if that suite is still in use tho.

I am pretty desperate to find work at the moment but when I got a call for one day at the hears ground as a cleaner I just could not bring myself to go. If it would have been at easter road that would have been another matter.

5 this week, 7 next and 5 the following week. Then the Saturday of the game. They would need all work done then to get safety certificate.that makes 17 my original number. Bit confused as live in Asia and 7 hours ahead. In reality they have to decide earlier than that so they can put contingency plan in place..

Which indoor corporate facilities at ER can you see the pitch from?
The function suites before the game you can look right onto the pitch in the west stand. Place Grant Stott goes with his dad and they interview the man if the match etc. Can't remember the name but been a few times.

Caley Thistle have corporate boxes for watching the game from, but they come in and close the curtains at half time so that they can serve alcohol. Apparently you are not allowed to serve alcohol in view of the pitch.
Apparantley you are not allowed to serve alcohol in view of Edinburgh Castle either, just as well that you can't see it from the Castle View Lounge really

Perhaps the bulk of the £15m is going to be spent on the interior fit-out to create something lavish.

See they're still spouting the best atmosphere in Scotland pish. Are they delusional? The place is a library unless Hibs are there (Hibs sections anyway). Hearts support has been the quietest in Scotland since 21/05/16

    Wonder what songs they'll sing?

Their singing section has lost all their 1902 patter and seem to have gone further back in time to sing about 1690.

Also not allowed to consume alcohol in front of a school. No way Budge will get a drinks licence for their hospitality areas.

I guess that's why they are emphasising the chips!

Nothing else to sing now. They seem to be struggling without homophobia and 1902 songs

Reading some of their comments re their new stand one is struck by the almost child-like enthusiasm they all seem to have for every last minute detail . Does a grown-up really get "goosebumps" when a workman nails some cheap tacky-looking signage on to it. Quite sad really. They really will have to "get a life"
Look what they had before. Last time someone nailed any signage onto a main stand at Tynecastle Jesus was being nailed to a cross with the same hammer.

Judging by this picture the seats are going to be a different shade from the other stands.

Not because it is their colour but maroon is such a dreary colour. When they were picking the colours back in the 1870's they must have either had a knocked off batch of paint they did not want to go to waste or were, again, ahead of their time and already planning for the great wars and wanting their ground to not be obvious to enemy bombers. Structurally, compared to what was there before, the actual stand does not look too bad except I will say one thing that struck me in other photos and although I know I must be wrong, it looks as if those in the back seats will have to be careful when they stand up. Think they have crammed in too many seats in a bid to be a big club.

But the front......I don't get it at all. As a façade it looks like old architecture to me, completely without imagination....unless the design allows some lucrative tenants moving in. Maybe the Edinburgh Council will relocate there and pay exorbitant rent.

15 million? Seems a lot for a temporary solution to the asbestos problem of the old stand.

They're absolutely creaming themselves over these photos on Kickback. Look at the absolute state of the Roseburn.

To be fair it will complete the stadium and look good from the inside.
