I agree, but it's their delusion that makes it fun.

When Hibs built the West and East stands the club went about things professionally without shouting and balling about it. Hearts and their fans have gone way over the top for a stand which is almost a mirror image of the Wheatfield with a decent, if bland, office building stuck on the back.

What's also funny is that HMFC have been deliberately misleading their fans as to the final capacity.

Caley Thistle have corporate boxes for watching the game from, but they come in and close the curtains at half time so that they can serve alcohol. Apparently you are not allowed to serve alcohol in view of the pitch.

Think the seats my still be wrapped in plastic, no matter though, a lot of the seats are already pink from sitting in the sun, so they'll still be a different shade anyway

To me that looks like it's going to be 33 rows of seats from top to bottom, that's the same as our East Stand. Now our East has 210 seats per row.
So minus the exits, disabled area and the unused TV gantry up the back, we are left with a stand capacity of just over 6,400.

So with their new stand also containing 33 rows but slightly shorter in width so fewer than 210 seats per row... Just how on earth will their stand have a capacity of over 7,000?
Methinks they are at it and the under reported final capacity of 19,600 is closer to the mark.

Yams counting stewards, ball boys and catering staff in the attendance figures. Shock!

What is that ***** with the coloured squares on either side of the outside? There’s no coherent pattern it just looks like someone’s opened Paint and used the fill tool to colour in the blocks at random.

The text/badge combo might be the most underwhelming centrepiece I’ve ever seen in my life.

The FF was designed with pitch view boxes. As another poster mentions, there’s slso a big hospitality area to the South side of main stand that looks out over the pitch. We have the capability but they don’t. Maybe they’ll build a new Robbo lounge at some point - maybe perched alongside the glorious police control box.

Reading some of their comments re their new stand one is struck by the almost child-like enthusiasm they all seem to have for every last minute detail . Does a grown-up really get "goosebumps" when a workman nails some cheap tacky-looking signage on to it. Quite sad really. They really will have to "get a life"
