    Or just Tiny.
I like that Matty though you need to see it written to fully appreciate. At the moment, their new glasshouse with no seats it's just Stand!

They seem to be accepting that their glass frontage does in fact look a bit mundane, so they're now speaking about replacing the glass when they've got some money to turn it into a giant video screen.

So they're now getting all excited about their big monobloc crest. They seem to be doing a very good job of it but some of the over reaction is hilarious, eg. "This has been designed to look symmetrical from eye level.. Not top down.. Incredible attention to detail.. Can't help but applaud it. " - erm, it's centred in a square surround - incredible?

They're also worried that the hobos will start spitting on it - I reckon sPit will be the least of their problems.

The reason the populace of Edinburgh spits on the High Street heart is because it was where the most hated building in the city stood, the Heart of Midlothian was a nickname for the debtors prison - which seems apt.

I just came across this site with photos of the East at ER dated 13/07/2010, ie. 5 weeks before it opened.

Seats? From top to bottom? What will they think of next?

Its basically a monoblock driveway with a design.

    So this has turned into:

"Sorry mate, we've made an ar5e of your house extension. We thought you wanted something ugly and functional. Can we make it up to you with a bit of monoblock instead?"

I think having the crest as part of their entrance is quite a neat idea.

However whats more important - in a normal world - is having a stand that can be inhabited, even if by mutants.

Someone (edit, it was you !!!) just up thread posted a pic of the East 5 weeks from completion, it actually looks ready to sit in.

I wonder when the announcement of alternative arrangements will be made by Budge?

Wait til they have another win or two under their belt and the radges across the road will swallow whatever she says?

Liking the Wernham Hogg suggestions, but what about The St James Centre? - in honour of another famous Edinburgh carbunkle? The similarities are frightening.

    Keep it simple, "The Office".

If Murrayfield's on the cards for the derby, they'll limit our allocation to the Roseburn equivalent or, if greedy, to the same allocation as the zombies.

No danger they'll open it up to as many as we want, regardless of the windfall they'd get - imagine getting the chance to outnumber them at their own home game, it'd be an invasion from us and they'd never live that down...

Actually seeing as they're doing the monoblock they could also sing The Stonecutters Song.
