Hearts have done nothing but talk up their new stand. Even moving to Murrayfield while their mega structure was being built. If they hadn't, fans of other clubs wouldn't be ripping them as much but I guess it's the Hearts way.

Reminds me of the story of "The Emperors New Clothes" but then again the image of Annie Budge or Levein in the scud is not one I wanted in ma heid!!

It just seems incredible that they don't get why other clubs fans, and lets face it especially ours, are taking the piss .... If you keep telling everybody that what you are going to build will be "magnificent" and keep saying its 'magnificent' when the clubs own pictures hardly back up that claim isn't that's what's going to happen?

I've been involved in a good number of projects involving curtain walling but none of them were designed with longevity in mind as would apply with a footie stadium. It appears that the life expectancy of curtain wall is 40 years +/- but that the gaskets etc much less than that. The younger fans are going to see all of this rebuilt in their own lifetimes.

Add-in their 30+ years of 'Other People's Money' during which time their support turned into the nasty, snarling, arrogant creature it is today, coupled with the 'Famous'/'Big team' atitude looking-down on the 'Smaller clubs' (their words) from both club and support, and it's not rocket-science to reckon that outside of the 'Ugly Sisters' the Jambos will be 3rd on most people's hate-list !. Of course folk are gonna rip the XXXX out of these clowns - everybody loves it when a 'Big Mooth' is shown up for exactly what it is - a big fat ZERO !

I drew a deep breath of shock what i saw this. It really is an extraordinarily ganting piece of architecture that looks like a cross between a 60's office block and the banana flats.

If you were looking in and didn't know you would think that this is a building that is beng prepared for demolition - but no the "faymoose' bum it up to be a state of art structure or erection as would be more fitting to describe it as bein when linked to some of their support.
