Oh Lordy! That picture squeals TEMPORARY. If I was a jambo I'd be crying with frustration. £16 million for a tin shed that is in a state of disrepair before its even finished.

How much did our West Stand cost?
How can they have spent so much on so very little? It beggars belief, its such a shoddy construction, possibly the worst stand ever constructed in the modern era yet they think its the best just because they have a 1970's monstrosity attached to their tin shack.

I wonder how Queen Anne sleeps at night. The poor woman deserves better, she has been badly advised and must be regretting not letting a reputable company take charge of the project.

I might have worked out one reason for the delay - from the footprints it looks like the workers may have their boot laces tied together.

The Main Stand at ER cost just over £6 million, IIRC.

However, we don't have an office block in front with the world's most prestigious Glass Wall... or loads of chip pans.

Yeah, but it looks like there is a metal stud frame going up in front of it.

Guess we are looking at the Platinum Seats section.

They are getting all orgasmic on kickback because half a seating deck is in and it looks like they have some roofing panels up there.

7 weeks to get it ready for the first match...............

What puzzles me about this decking system is the fireproofing requirement.
Put very simply there's no requirement, "excrement don't burn!".

Having been very experimental between the ages of 5 and 7, I can categorically state that assertion is untrue.

I'm sure that they won't be tramping up and down exposed thin steel in the gangways once the stand is finished.

    Surely????!?!

After Hearts tweet about the "stunning glass curtain" I have a serious question and would appreciate a serious answer. WTF is a glass curtain? The video shows a stand with windows? Absolutely bog standard normal windows. Is it just the case that because they run the full length of the stand they're calling it a curtain?

    I'm awestruck... no, really!

It saddens me that there are those on here unable to appreciate the grandeur and majesty of this groundbreaking architectural marvel.

I've no problem with them fighting back or slagging us off but for them to try and say we are jealous is just so far fetched it's ridiculous.

    Jealous? Of that monstrosity?

The classic on that twitter feed is that fans of every club, not just us jealous Hibbies, are slaughtering it. Only the deluded ones are defending it. It is an eyesore and any architect putting his or her name to that design in 2017 needs to be thrown out of RIBA or RIAS or any other architectural society they have bluffed their way into

I asked this a couple times a few pages back also, and unless there is some spray and rough adhesive material to go on it it will be a ridiculous death trap.
Someone on Kickback predicted, apparently quite correctly, that hibs.net would be calling it a death trap, which it certainly won't be.

Pretty elementary I would have thought to make it safe underfoot.
