    Season Ticket 23-24 Payment Plan

Has anyone else found this confusing on the e-ticketing site?

I couldn't select a choice of plan, got landed at CCU and couldn't apply because I don't live in the East of Scotland.

Despite that, I got a confirmation that my purchase was successful.

I have emailed the ticketweb site, but it all feels like a bit of a shambles and now I'm panicking about my seat being released.

I have no idea how Hibs are taking the money.

I got a 404 after entering direct debit details. Got confirmation email but you have me thinking now. Email ticket office, I think I will to be sure

I've had the same issue, so we are barred from the CCU option due to our location, despite this not being an issue before when it was done through V12. Still got the confirmation through from Hibs but payment said Finance so they assume that all is good through that method. The ticket office advised either pay in full or the 6 month option which might not suit. Also needed the ticket office to put my ticket back into my basket so that I could go through the process again once I decide what option.

I emailed the issue to Keiron who has acknowledge the issue and is going to speak with departments within Hibs and flag this issue up.

Wait... so the longer payment plan is only accessible if you live in the east? That could potentially mean no renewal for us ?

I was also confused by this. Got Hibs to cancel it and instead picked the direct debit option at the checkout which is the one I was looking for anyways.

Direct debit vs payment plan should be labelled more clearly

Had this problem myself a couple of seasons ago. I selected the 12 month payment plan thinking I had chosen the 6 month plan. It just needs more obvious titles for each plan which should not be too difficult?

Yep - Much more confusing than the previous supplier (Zebra?)

Quite surprised we never got an instant acceptance, & then got a text a few days later from CCU confirming we were approved.

We then got a letter to say to download the App, but the loan isnt shown in the App???

The £30 fee i new as well. Dont think we paid that before

What’s the difference between payment plan and direct debit?

Payment plan is through a finance company over a longer period, DD is six months directly through the club so no credit check etc.

    Thanks for clarifying

I had similar issue as I don't live in Edinburgh area. Finance company emailed yesterday to say they would contact Ticketmaster and seats would be available again to reselect and choose different payment option. I tried last night but my seats not showing. Hopefully sorted later or I'll phone and see if can switch to the dd option.

I think the 6 month direct debit option is the only interest free option.

I done the application this morning and still not heard back from the finance company. Last year I took the 6 month DD direct with Hibs but I’m sure in years gone by when it was through Zebra the process was far easier and almost instantaneous

    👍
Yes I forgot to mention that, a pretty good deal from the club.

Had everything reset by the Ticket Office. Renewed with 6 month DD option. I hope everyone gets the plan of their choice, no matter where they live.

    Cheers!

Tried to pay using the 6-month payment method this morning,
says 'invalid sort code' despite being correct so can't get to the next page...

Sorted now. You have to enter the dashes between the numbers......

See, I look at that £30.00 arrangement fee as an extra the same as an interest charge as you are still paying more than the ST value (usually if you pay interest there is no arrangement fee).

I agree. If didnt really notice it at the time of my application & its done now & I did get £40 early bird discount (2 x season tickets).

Its a fixed £30 fee so the more season tickets you are buying, the less of an impact it will have.

If I was doing it again, I'd go for the Direct Debit option

I’m still waiting on an email from the finance company, over a day now. Absolutely hopeless

I renewed and opted for the Direct Debit just to spread out the cost instead of paying in full.

Stuck in the bank detail and job done without any bother.

I emailed the ticket office this morning and ccd Ben. Just had a reply from aidan saying the location restriction will shortly be lifted and they weren't aware. Credit to them for sorting it .

I’ve had absolutely nothing. Think I might ring them and tell them to cancel it and just do the DD with Hibs

I got the email saying the application was in etc and I replied to that earlier today, it was yesterday morning I received what must be a standard reply from the finance company. Now a day and a half later and no confirmation either way as to if the application was approved or not. No reason why I’d not get the finance that I can think of - just starting to get a bit worried that if they drag their heels much longer and there is an issue, I might miss the cut off for the DD with Hibs and I’d rather not part with the 430 up front if I can avoid it!

Zebra were a million times easier to deal with, I must’ve used them every season since they offered the finance package and that can’t be far off ten years. Wonder why Hibs moved away from them

I got an email back from Kieran saying that the location restrictions are being lifted and CCU will accept anyone in Scotland.

Had a few problems with trying to renew for our group of 3 adults and 2 children. Took a trip down to the ticket office this afternoon. Really helpful and sorted the problem. However, when I logged on later to renew still not quite right. Quick phone call and problem sorted. Can't fault the service from the TO. 5 season tickets now renewed. Guy in office admitted online ticketing system has it's faults and needs improved to make it easier.
