Thread: Cash cow

I love the way somebody hit the old stand at the side and it was meant to collapse but they were scared to hit it again in case the skeletal rigging on the new stand crumbled.

Awaiting the next fans fundraisers... Buy your Hertz Sledgehammer (of Hibs) and help knock down the old stand. Maybe Budget can even squeeze the mugs to pay per kilo of demolition...

That looks a big job to complete in their timeframe. More away games at the start of the season should mean less points too..

Seems obvious that the tramps have ran out of cash to pay the contractors anything more than a few beans to keep a skeleton team of two jakeys and a hammer banging away till the pub opens.

Probably yet another panicky fan beg soon. Budge must be losing interest now.

Can see them asking the SPFL if they can play their first 16 games away from home.

Got out to wonder at the sense of spending £ 1 million on changing accommodation and ticket office under the Wheatfield when they could have used porta-cabins and part of their exec. club until the new pile was fitted out.

Is that right about tailing off of action on site ?

Now is the time for maximum progress if there was any chance of meeting the deadline. Could be asbestos dust threat from the demolishion requiring other trades to be kept away, or as you hint failure to pay the contractors.

Fortunately / unfortunately I'm many time-zones away from Gorgie so unable to have a chat with the hard-hats on site.

That would be the first bath you would come out of feeling dirtier than when you went in.
