    Enjoy.
Cheers. That was quite an impressive advertising piece until they spoiled it by referring to chips.
Purely from an architectural and historical point of view it will be interesting to see the stand once it's finished. The trouble is that although the rest of their stadium is relatively new, it's already in very poor condition in a cramped location and the new stand is going to look thoroughly out of place whenever it's finally completed.

Are there many glass curtains in stands around the country? Clearly it's always going to be bigger than the one in Stenhousmuir but where else?

And we WILL. This is Hibs, this is a new era and we are going kick ass next season and beyond.

    Stop nitpicking.

It's going to be the BIGGEST (and the BEST) glass curtain, like everything else about Hearts.

I bet each individual chip will be at least the size of two large baked potatoes.

And each and every chip will have fought gallantly in at least two world wars.......

That's pretty incredible. Looking at the I interactive map, there are very few seats available in decent sections of the ground.

Remarkable achievement! And we are only at the start of June!

It's starting to get to the point where you will need a season ticket to get a chance to attend any Cat A matches...the dot count threads won't take long for these games if we are playing well and we could be seeing quite a few sell outs at ER next year at this rate!

Need to amend thread title to 10,900 unless waiting until 5pm when it should hit the 11K mark.

  14. #193
Hopefully hit 11k by the end of the day !

Let's keep this going and smash the record and get as close as we can to 14,000.

The ONLY way to guarantee yourself a seat at Easter Road for every game this season is by having a Season Ticket. Great problem to have.

In years gone by you could have had rows to yourself.

It's going to be one he'll of a scramble for those walk up fans at category A games.

If I was 'on the fence' that alone would be enough to persuade me to get a season.

    13000 is very possible now.

Hibs should make an announcement that chips will only be available to season ticket holders.

Trying to look at it from a non biased point of view if it looks like it does in the mock up photo it will look quite smart. A packed Easter Road every week and a packed Tynecastle will be good for Scottish football too. Of course I hope we continue to pump them every game.

The only way to get a seat that is not stuck in a corner and away from your mates is to get a ST!

How many season tickets do you think we'll need to shift before the board look into putting walk ups in the south for the visits of rangers and Celtic?

Or are these arrangements pre made with the police before the season starts?

Won't happen as the club will guarantee a sell out of the south when they 2 and hearts come to ER, that won't happen if we give our own support part of the south.

Out of interest how many seats are actually available for season tickets?I'm guessing there must be a limit?

    IMHO it won't happen.

With silly tv ko times for category A games we will do well to sell out the three home stands.

It will be like the rest of the stadium, it will age REALLY badly.

Even the window cleaning bill will be through the roof- they'll run it down and within 10 years it will be a midden.... it'll fit right in

    4000 I believe

Is it mental we should try to aim for 14,000?

Why not. I've never known this surge of support around the club before.

They've only been selling them for about a week I think but they'll be well down on last seasons total. Living within your means and a strong Hibs isn't very appealing and they'll be back at Myreside or Boroughmuir on a Saturday before you know it.

Apparently we have been selling ours earlier than them because we are in financial difficulty.
