Says he's been superb for them this season and even though he's out of contract, he'd be very surprised if he were to leave. He's mainly played as a 10 or on the left this season.

I'd imagine we will sign more than one player.

I'm sure we will. My concern is we have sufficient budget to sign at least 2 proper strikers in addition to JC. Holt & Graham scored 9 championship goals between them last season. We need much better next season.

Looks decent enough but a bit of a fanny. I do recall thinking he was a wee prick at Aberdeen.

Still, if he bangs in the goals and winds the Jambos up, who would complain.

Take it this is Chris Maguire ex Aberdeen, Derby, Sheff Wed and now tearing it up at Oxford in League 1?

He'll be in his prime now I'd imagine so would think this could be a very decent signing. Not sure how he'd work with Swanson but good to have 2 options.
