    Brilliant response

I doubt even the Hertz would do something like this at a club level, almost certainly a fan I would guess ..... apart from anything else it would be incredibly stupid of them to start a tit for tat where if Hibs were of a mind the we could retaliate with a list of the creditors, or post a picture of us with the cup and a caption 'how to win honestly'

Facebook is awash with their pish today, in fact a lot more than it was at the same time last year ...... they are obviously bricking it for the absolute blizzard to come in a couple of days time.

Have they abandoned their position that we were killed as a club that day then? What now, we were reborn?

It takes a special kind of sad ******* to send a card like that to your rivals' Chairman & Chief Exec. Their obsession is creepy.

Probably that 'Real Romanov' on twitter who sent it. He is a total weirdo.

It certainly is; it's stalking and we should get a restraining order!

Their hatred of us is stronger than their feelings for their own club. Weirdos.

Our passion for and pride in our club is so much more than they can ever dream of.

I was going to say that it's pretty sad if it's official Hearts but I agree it's probably just a fan.

Ach, it's all a laugh at the end of the day. If this was the two Glasgow clubs there would probably be a media outcry as the envelope would probably contain sectarian insults and an explosive device.
I couldn't agree more - whether it was Hearts, or one of their fans, it's just a bit of friendly banter and LD has dealt with it in a humorous way.

I can imagine the guy laughing and crying at the same time, telling himself over and over again that that final is still relevant while crazily scribbling the card in his mum's basement.

It could have been ten, but it should have been one hundred and fifteen.

It's just a joke which due to the response backfired big time.

Bet the chap/lady involved told all their pals look at what I sent Hibs. I'm sure they are getting a bit of banter since the response. Both parts made me smile maybe I'm still a bit immature ha.

I think Sunshine the Leith Lynx needs to start sending Budge and Levein a monthly '2-0 and you ****ed it up' postcard with the name of a stiffed creditor on it. Should be done by 2049.

Why would that take so long? Was there a large number of creditors?

  26. #55
Good banter but just shows that the only good thing they've got going for them at the moment is the memory of a cup win 5 years ago. Everything else in the recent past, the present and the foreseeable future is crap, unless you count the new stand they're paying for out of their own pockets to get the capacity to almost the same as ER.

I see it is now a news story.

Leeann is proving the club have a sense of humour about the result so it begs the question, did Hibs really complain to get the guy the "sack" from Dynamic Earth? More likely it was because of him taking the mickey out of a client when he should have been working and it appearing on social media was brought to his boss's attention at some point later.

I'm not particularly offended by the card or their "celebrations" but it's totally shan banter, very in keeping with what you'd expect from them.

We could send Robbie "Money Spinner" Neilson a thank you card every year too but to be honest I couldn't give a **** about Hearts, they were just another team we beat on the way to immortality. In fact we seem to beat them quite a bit these days...

I said before, had I been that guy's boss at Dynamic Earth I would have sacked him. Posting images from a private client event on social media? Emptied.
