If that figure they bumped Heriot-Watt out of is correct I hope their fans are happy knowing there are redundancies being implemented currently at the uni. Really worth their success is worth seeing people lose their jobs?!

I've had a fair bit of social media ribbing today from some so called mates that are Jambos. Have replied to them quoting the full creditors list and not a peep in response. Says it all.
I've also reminded them of a few home truths and this has been my response to them :
"I don't disagree that 19/5/12 was a huge disappointment and kick in the teeth. I'm not daft. But what has happened to both clubs since then is like chalk and cheese.
You've had administration, we haven't. 1-0 to us.
We've both gone down. You came up before us but we've now managed to do it whilst putting our house back in order and you haven't "kicked on" as you thought you would. Score draw 1-1. Now 2-1 to HFC.
Fan ownership? Basically donations of cash to either club for supposed part owning of shares. I have my share certificate. Worthless I know in terms of a "financial investment" but at least my name is listed as a shareholder with voting rights. Can FoH donators show me their certificates? I don't believe so. Another score for us making it 3-1.
As mentioned above, bought and paid for stadium & training facility at HFC. Hertz? Still scrambling to fund the new stand and still renting Heriot Watt (when you can be bothered to pay the bill). Another plus for us. I make that 4-1 now.
Finally, manager comparison. Lennon! Maybe not the most popular man in Scottish football but definitely has the experience and know how to take us forward in the short term at least. Cathro? His philosophy might come right for him one day in future but football management is all about the here & now and by your own admission, he's not making a very good job of it is he? Taking you from 2nd in the league to 5th in the space of 6 months. I'd make that another positive in HFC favour and a final goal scored, making the current final score (not one from 5 years ago) - HFC 5 - HoMFC 1"
Strangely, the silent response to this has been deafening. Says it all - again.

I genuinely couldn't give a **** about their wee "5-1 anniversary". Its no more than a comfort blanket to them now. 21.05.16 killed off any 5-1 hurt i had left (but believe me there wasn't a lot left). It was tainted. Their creditors list is shameful. But let them have their wee tainted cup. % years today marks the anniversary of the last time will will ever just let hearts walk all over us. thats not saying they will never beat us again, of course they will but we will never be bullied by them again and never just accept losing to them again. Hearts have had their fun with us but the cheating days are over, time to live in reality now. I love them hiding behind 5-1 and long may it continue as far as i'm concerened, its lost them their swagger in derbies as they rest on the laurels.
21.05.16 hurt them more than 5-1 hurt us. We were on a hiding to nothing that day. We had a terrible team who should have been nowhere near a cup final vs a massively financially doped hearts squad. The writing was on the wall from the start. But we bounced back, got stronger. You only have had to have been at tynecastle this year in the cup to see what our SC win has doen to them. Silence. Nothing to lord over us anymore, the whole "big team, wee team" arrogance has nothing to back it up anymore. A few tried to make themsleves feel better by flashing the 5-1 hand signs but they knew it was in vain. Our SC win has obliterated everything they had over us and the fact that they had a huge hand in us winning it is a real sickner. If they had just held on for those last 10 minutes at home after being 2-0 up then they would still have all their 1902, big team big cup, 114 years patter all in tack, their favourite source of wind up material. We also won the cup honestly, no charities had to be robbed.
Since hearts "killed us as a club that day" the following has happened:
- 3 cup finals
- 6 trips back to hampden
- won the SC
- went to Europe
- highest attendances in Edinburgh
- record ST sales
- hearts enter admin and the full extent of their cheating exposed
- knocked hearts out the cup 3 times
- knocked hearts out the cup in Dec 2012, just 7 months after they won it making them the club to hold onto the SC for the shortest time
- unbeaten now in 7 straight derbies
- won the championship, back in the PL where we belong
Don't know about you but I ****ing LOVE being "dead as a club"

Is this list correct? Seems implausible that the winners of the 1914 - 18 season would treat Lady Haig so shabily.
