I know he did nothing in his last stint at Tynecastle but Cathro might get the best out of him.

If I was a Hearts fan I'd wonder why we bothered signing strikers. The youth set up for brining through strikers over there is probably the best in the UK. They might not see the next Jamie Mole, but they can sure as hell expect to see something.
If that doesn't happen then they can at least rely on dead ball specialist Malaury Martin to get at least 15 goals.

Clearly Connor S has no part in the current set up as he only seems to be able to play when there are goal posts on the pitch. Not the Hearts way......

As one of my jumbo mates used to say* - the last time Hearts had a decent striker it was Robbo. They don't do strikers but have for a funny knack and landing defensive midfielders from Eastern Europe with the heart of a mouse.
*he doesn't engage in football chat since May last year. A combination of being too busy at work and a general "Scottish football is rubbish" view.

They should have done that the other way round

They punted their best striker in a generation and we're going to sell him for millions. Pleasing.

Alex Salmon would need to lose a bit of weight first surely. Connor Sammon on the other hand I dont think is up to the task

I always thought it was strange they refused to let Salmon go to Dundee United but let him go to Killie.

Tinned salmon perhaps but I just can't see them raising the cash for a whole fresh one.

How would he fit into Hearts wage scale?
Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.
