We are apparently favourites to sign Simon Murray. Can't say that is overly promising. Runs about a lot but poor technique from what I've seen. Surely only a back up option to replace Keatings.

16 goals this season is not a bad return though. I'm not sure about him to be honest but that's a decent return.

Celtic fan told me today he's been offered a coaching role at Parkhead with one of the youth teams. Not sure how reliable that is though.

3 years older than Cummings but 15 a season last two seasons in the SPL compared to Cummings 18 and 19 in the Championship.

What would you value Cummings at out of interest?

County can want what they like but if he has a £500k buy out clause in his contract as reported then that is all they will get.

10 League goals was a poor return for one of the top teams in the League and a regular starter. Dobbie managed 19 with a poorer side. Can't say i was impressed with what I saw of him at ER and highlights.

That's not correct. Ross County are contractually obliged to accept any offer which meets the minimum buyout clause (if one actually exists).

No it won't. At £500k you have the right to talk to the player. If there is to be a bidding war after that it will be in the wages offered to the player. Ross County won't get a penny more than £500k.
