    Rather fitting

That David Gray got the ball rolling last May and ended the nightmare today with the last goal.

I was raging when we signed him as his career on Wikipedia looked *****.

    Lesson learned

He'd never scored a goal in professional football before joining us and has now scored two hugely important goals in the rich tapestry of our club.

I was told by a couple of Jambos on Friday night that he will be signing for them and that he is desperate to do so. I told them they were a pair of slavering pricks!!

He used to be a Jambo but he's alright now. It must kill them knowing that two of "their own" are Hibs legends. David for one of the most iconic goals in Scottish football history and lifting the Scottish cup and Jase the hammer of the Hearts. Pleasing.

are these pricks still at it?

The list keeps growing - they've been going to sign O'Connor, Rioirdan, Scott Brown, Tony Mowbray, Whittaker among others in the past.

Best they managed was Mikey Stewart and Brian Hamilton.

Definitely and again our forwards rarely looked like scoring . i remember Rob Jones scoring a few and Jordon Forster a few important goals too so hopefully defenders will continue scoring next season and take pressure off will presumably be a new forward line next season .

Hated Hamilton as a nipper for signing for them. Cup winning legend but still sticks in my throat.

Given the unfair stick he got from the Hibs fans you could hardly blame him.

I was maybe a tad too young to remember the stick he took. To me he was a player who won the cup then signed for them. Vague memory as a 6 year old of him striking the post during the 91 final?

Didn't Hibs get over £250,000 for Hamilton from Hearts via the transfer tribunal in those pre-Bosman days?

His mum goes to the church that my auld man plays the organ at. She kindly got David to sign a cup final flag from last year cause I was unable to attend the game or the cup parade.

It's says " to Neil glory glory. All the best "

    Signed David Gray

The back four as a unit should be chipping in with 10 to 12 goals a season to help the team out. Defenders win headers in their own box so why not the other way around.
