    Aaaaah,Hearts fans eh?

Giving it big licks yet battening down the hatches as soon as they get a bad result and shutting off from the world. Guess I'll just need to wait until tomorrow now for a right good few belly laughs on JKB once the inquest is over.

I've been saying for a few months now that Houston will be in the dugout for the first derby of the season. Guarantee it.
Know a guy who regularly plays golf with Houston. Says he wouldn't touch the job with a bargepole now.

Been said before, but its really difficult to believe that English isn't his second (or third) language

When he gets emptied from Hearts a career in an overseas call centre awaits

Don't worry, you can binge on it tomorrow. I plan to read through the entire match thread from about half past 3 today. Might also dip in to one or two Cathro/Levein out threads to finish off

with 3 years still to run on his contract, its going to take a fairly substantial payment to get rid of him! Long live Cathro.

I'd be shocked if he's sacked. But I wouldn't be surprised if they brought in some help in a senior figure with experience to help him. JJ maybe 😂

He gave Ian Black his only ever international cap - at Easter Road.
    Yeah I think that's right

    And the crowd booed him

Craig attempted to blame Hibs fans for the reception Black got

Or was it to do with the fact he picked a 4th tier Rangers player to be in the Scotland team...

Fantastic. I'm inspired all over again. Cathro must be given time.

"The official Heart of Midlothian FC matchday programme has undergone a Hollywood makeover ahead of the new season, with a new cover theme sure to catch the eye.

For the duration of the 2017/18 campaign, every programme cover will be an adaptation of an iconic movie poster…albeit with a football (and primarily Hearts) related twist. The first issue of the season is a take on the 1986 academy award winning movie Platoon, with summer signing Cole Stockton taking centre stage on the cover. The movie title has been altered slightly in a nod to Friday night’s opponents, Newcastle United, aka. ‘The Toon’."

They've also had 'East Fife Story' and the above 'Boys in Maroon'.

I don't care who they have in charge because at the end of the day they need a massive influx of quality players. These types of players cost money however the signing of the young loanees from Man City and Liverpool show what market they are in.

They have used their budget bringing in Laugherty and Berra as well as resigning Hughes!

That coupled with the constant delay's with the mega stand have the yam hordes with their hackles up.

I really don't think it has sunk in yet with some of them but my yam associates who were there yesterday made the following observations

Absolutely no chance the megastand will be ready anytime soon. Little or no progress since last game at PBS.

The squad has little or no quality and they will really heavily on Berra, Laugherty, Goncalves, Cowie and Souttar to keep them as high up table as possible! They lack quality in key areas all over the pitch and injuries and suspensions once they kick it will hurt the club big time.

Cathie out his depth but the real issues are with Levein and he is the one running the show with Cathri as his puppet. He's hiding and is the one that brings in the transfers not Cathro.

They also believe they cannot and will not sack him and will wait until the first derby (it's all that matters to them) and if they get beaten then he goes.

As for the cup to suggest it's the Diddy Cup is stupid cos it's a form of income yet that most don't see tat.

O and they are getting concerned at the debt that's wracking up and they have written to Budge to provide an update given her silence in recent weeks.

Yes they are yams but decent ones (I know) and they are not happy!

    All pleasing

This is such a dumb idea.

What are they going to do for the derby? They can't help themselves with th cheap digs.
