I don't think they will be able to fund a pay off. More likely he will be put on garden leave and they will hope he finds a new job.

Wouldn't surprise me if Cathro agreed to some bull**** statement that he's decided to move on to some other project as its best for both parties blah blah blah. You know the kind of crap. All to save face for Levein.

I hope so to. The guys a fraud. He would be better making some cash writing coaching manuals. His problem is he can't put them into practice where someone else could. I have my fingers crossed he is still at Hearts next season. He's got a hell of a job in recruitment in the summer however their budget will not get him the kind of player he needs to implement his playing philosophy. Or will they dip into the FOH DD's to fund their player recruitment through panic?! Goalposts moved again.

I would think that if he survives till Wednesday then he's safe. If they are going to get rid then they will want to act quickly.

    ^^Agreed.

Makes no sense taking time if they are going to get rid, it'll just be down to what kinda package he gets.

Thing is, it looks like a no brainer to let him go but the stubbornness of Levein and co. will hopefully ensure he's around until Xmas at least.

Oh I don't know. He seems to favour the kind of player who has great ball technique and can spray it about when the pressure is off and no one challenges them. Those kind of guys are 10 a penny at most public parks.

If Johnsen had shown some aggression on the park instead of off it Hearts would have got something from that game on Sunday. The Celtic centre halves had clearly started their holidays early and the airport bus could have gone down the middle there were so many gaps.I'll be very surprised if Rogers doesn't strengthen there because they're way below European level.

That's not as back as it looks. They've only played 22 games and have a game in hand over Hamilton.

Looks like Cathro is handing out the P45's. Let's hope his own envelope is not at the bottom of the pile.

    hahahaaaaaaaaaaa.....(comments from some pink plum)

"If Cathro had been here at the start of the season we would have been relegated. Another Stubbs/Calderwood. Please leave and get that arrogant clown Levein out of a job that shouldn't exist. We don't need a DoF
Stubbs kept you down for three seasons. His record at Rotherham speaks for itself. He didn't win you the cup, a set of freak results and an on loan celtic forward did. It had to happen eventually it just happened when Stubbs was there. Calderwood was useless as was Butcher".

Seen in the article below that dougal thinks walkers suffering from fatigue.

He's bound to have sore knees and bruises all over from all the diving about he's instructed to do. Can't see it being fatigue after the wee imposed rest he got for cheating just recently.

Walker will be moved on this summer. They can't afford to let him leave for nothing next year and he wants away anyway.

    But Cathro loves him.

He's really turned the tables. On that form they'd be on top if you stood on your head.

I believe that their record would be much better if they had scored more goals and conceded less allowing them to win more games and accumulate more points.

What a bitter person. Firstly Stubbsy didn't keep us down for three seasons. We were already down to the mismanagement of Butcher and Malpas. Freak Scottish Cup result. I wonder which games he's talking about. We won the cup fair and square and didn't use other people's money or rob charities on the way either.

Just watched the Time for Heroes for the first time yesterday and what a great product it is. Three hours of complete enjoyment and pride. Hearts couldn't dream of ever producing something anywhere near the superb standard of ours. Hibs class if I'm allowed to say that. Tear to a glass eye as well.

    I hate the Hearts.

Hearts had 10 players on loan in their starting 11 when they beat Gretna on pens.

And never paid Craig Beattie for his efforts in the 2012 Scottish cup semi final either.
