Delighted for Sergio - big fans of both but I was rooting for Garcia. No money riding on anyone, but had a high-stakes kinder egg three pack/bottle of Moretti wager with daughter on a last day head to head with her taking Garcia against my Fowler.
Justin Rose showed in his interview why he is such an impressive sportsman, and he is absolutely right to feel that he will contend many more Masters Tournaments in the future.

Can't think of a more popular winner ever. Just brilliant!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Agreed, I'm delighted for him. I thought he would never win a major.

Just back from Tartan Week n NYC. Yesterday we were casually taking a few snaps around Wall St when Segio suddenly appeared for his appointment at the Stock Exchange. Managed a wee 'well done' chat and a high five then a quick photo with the wee man before he was rushed away. Buzz!

Great photo. Complete with the fabled Green Jacket of course. Very fitting for a Hibs messageboard! Your young lad will be well pleased.

I suppose after a few drinks it would be easy to confuse Ricki Fowler with Ricky Burns then post on the wrong thread!

    😆
