Rediculous kick off time and live TV coverage will keep travelling numbers down.
    Expect 16,000 from Edinburgh.

Think we will pass the 20k mark

    @Leith Green

    I think so too,

18k Minimum I think, Not everyday you get to go watch the current SC holders in another Semi final. Have to say I would be slightly disappointed if we didn't take more than 17k considering we had around that for the replay. Time of KO etc is always going to put some people off or effect plans which is a shame because a 3:00 Saturday KO would have been a massive crowd.

Not really ridiculous, it has been that way for years.

I think it'll be very close to that. First time we've been back at Hampden as holders. Certainly be the largest support we've taken to Hampden for a semi for a number of years

Which would be class and a sea of green as out allocation is only 21000

Normally, would not expect more than 14-15k Hibs fans at a cup semi with Aberdeen but there's nothing normal about Hibs since 21 May 2016. This cup run has captured the imagination and would not be beyond the club to sell 20k+.

Was it communicated that tickets were being held back for today because didnt realise that and probably could have got better seats today than on Friday.

Yeah, original comms stated that tickets would be held back so that all avenues would have the same opportunity to buy tickets regardless of when the sales begun.

I don't understand people's views on the KO time being ridiculous. Its an hour or so away from Edinburgh, so get up at a decent time and make your way west!!! It's not like your needing to get up at 4am and walk there!!! Trains, buses and cars are all available.... so you might not get more than a pint or two before the kick off boo hoo! If we win then celebrate with a few pints... if we lose then commiserate with a few more!!! If you want to go watch you team play in the SF of the Scottish Cup then do what it takes.... Same goes for the moaning Dons fans... its 3 hours Leave at 7am get there for 10ish and have a pint or two. Its not like you can't possibly enjoy the occasion without alcohol!!!

Just because they keep repeating the act doesn't mean it's not ridiculous.

Absolutely stupid time to have a football match when half the supporters will have to leave home before breakfast time. All done to suit the armchair viewer and the broadcasters who don't give a toss about efforts made to support a team.

From FA website RE the FA cup semi finals.

When and how are match dates and kick-off times decided?
Throughout the course of the competition the broadcasters pick the dates and times but, following that, there’s quite a complex process involved. We work closely with Premier League, EFL, National League and UEFA competition fixtures. We also take into account safety concerns, guidance from the local authorities, policing and transport and travel for the fans.

There’s no doubt broadcasters prefer the evening kick-offs to give the most number of people the chance to watch the game.

86 Dens and 93 City Farm must have been close. Certainly well rammed (there's a pun!).

There are very few options though when it isn't the Sunday. Can remember us playing Aberdeen in a semi with a 6pm kick off and there weren't trains to get Dons fans home after the game hence there were only 5k of them.
