A friend of mine (and his band) in the Weege were given 200K by McGee to do an album. They got s single and a good blast... 'Cocaine decisions' as Zappa wrote. Doesnt make longevity in business or mental health.

Which goes to show just how much of a financial basket case hearts have been, even as far back as the mid 90s, if a coked up Alan McGee saw the sense of steering clear after a quick chat with Bobby Gillespie- that well known financial advisor.

Reading the comments on that article does show some of these cretins up for what they really are, probably shouldn't look back in anger.

I watched the Screamadelica classic albums programme on the bbc I-player the other day.

When they were discussing their excessive drug use on one of their tours, one of them said he knew it had gone too far when he was caught looking for the steering wheel to the Sydney Opera House.

He obviously wasn't there when some zoomer suggested "let's buy Hearts!"

Liam and Noel. Graham and Craig. Bullet dodged.....

He'd only have done something crazy like appointed a young inarticulate nerd with laptop and no real professional footballing experience or person management skills. They dodged a bullet there.

    I did rather like:
"Do you think we really give a C*** about this right now! We don't want to hear about wanabee owners we want to hear from the 2 pillocks hiding in the boardroom with theirs mouths zipped up!"

Doubt this mogul guy would have bought Scottish football's newest girder.

The yams wanted to spend all their savings on one and Mrs Budge answered their prayers.

"I did not need any persuasion to play for such a great club, the Hibs result is still one of the first I look for"

Just goes to show football and music is not a good mix (no pun intended).
When Elton John had Watford, he could not get rid of them quick enough in the end.
Wet Wet Wet were helping bank roll Clydebank, and where are they now?
To much money is wasted in football, and only football realists or mega rich Barons need apply for ownership!!!!

Would have broken my Heart of Oasis were linked to them in any way shape or form. Personally had them down as more of a Michael Bolton kind of club
