Delighted to still be in it.

Whatever happens now we can be proud of our attempt to defend it. We are under zero pressure and given we play 7 league games of the remaining 10 and will hopefully be near winning title or very very close to by the time the game comes around, it could end up being a pressure free game (as much as it can ever be).

If honest would take Aberdeen first then The Rangers second. Celtic are untouchable and I would rather one of the others had a crack at them first. I have a sneaky feeling Partick might get a result on Sunday.

Once the draw is confirmed then it's all about ignoring for 7 weeks and winning the key league games coming up. Win our next 4 and we are home and dry as far as I am concerned but that's a big ask.

The day trippers will be saving up their pocket money for the final
Would you rather the day trippers didn't get a ticket and we only half filled our end ?

My point was the day trippers won't go to semi, but wait for final. I never said they wouldn't get or not deserve a ticket.

The Rangers. Mother of all semi finals. Struggle for tickets will be prodigious.

To win the cup, you need to beat Celtic. So, let's do then in the semi.
No you're just need to beat whoever you play,Celtic haven't got to the final yet.

I agree with you on that but if some of the day trippers then buy season tickets its a win win for everybody associated with hibs and I think if we draw the Huns there is a good chance of us selling out after last seasons final , there really is nothing like beating them , even the hearts for me

Aberdeen then Sevco in the final again
If the other three names in the hat are Celtic, Aberdeen and last years losing finalists, that is how I would like it to play out.

I don't think Celtic if drawn against The Rangers will make the same mistake as last year but one must never lose hope !!

The point is that the day trippers were there today.

A lot of season ticket holders were playing golf, moaning about BBC coverage etc.

I would disagree with you there. The majority there today would have been ST holders & the usual walk ups. No many day trippers for a cold day against Ayr. Was there a golf outing arranged for today for ST holders? A daft day to have it on a match day. Or was it arranged before we knew we would have been in the quarters.

Assuming Celtic win today, either of the other two. Don't be fooled by Sevco hitting Accies for six; they're terrible.

I still have a funny feeling that thistle will be in the mix.

Hibs, Aberdeen, Rangers and Celtic? Nah, there's always a wee shock.

I have a feeling that fate will deliver a good guys vs TRFC semi final.

TRFC will go into meltdown and demand that the SAS, 2 Para and the Samaritans are mobilised to protect their fans on match day. The media will go into full TRFC 12th man mode and regurgitate all the pitch invasion misinformation. Everyone bar the huns and some diet sympathisers will see it for what it is. Everyone apart from them will want us to win. I think the good guys will win.

Assuming Aberdeen and Celtic win today then I'll say Aberdeen.

No chance we'd take anything like 30k to the semi.

We'll get the East and half the South. Sevco will probably get the whole North which is fair enough as there's no way we'll take 20 odd thousand through.

Saying that I never imagined we'd be getting 15k regularly at home this season.
We will get half the north. We will be given an equal share.

Rarely been more confident of being on the right side of argument.

Like hell we would. Celtic would be the only team that would take anywhere near 30k for a lunchtime live TV semi-final.

    Celtic for me please

Tbh I wanted them every round after besting Bonnyrigg Rose. Beat them and we've got as good a chance as anybody. Lose to them and it's what most people would expect anyway.

Our Scottish Cup run this season has been perfect. Starting our reign at the home of our fiercest rivals against a local junior side. Then drawing our illustrious neighbours and papping them out again after they couldn't beat us at home.

Then we got the home draw to Ayr. Let's give it our all but we have 10 finals in the league coming up which mean more to me than any Scottish Cup semi or final will this season

No. And I'm not sure why it would be considering the last time hearts faced Celtic at hampden in the semi finals they didn't get half the ground and the last time we played the Huns in a semi we didn't get half either.
That's because they only sold 9k or so.

Assuming no surprises, I'd want Aberdeen. They'll underestimate us (as they always seem to do in cups) and we'll make a game of it.

Celtic will batter us and a game against Rangers would get very nasty. Let them kick the **** out of each other.

It could be the case that whoever draws Celtc beats them, but it's a very long shot against a side that hasn't lost a domestic match all season. Anything can happen in a one off game etc etc, but it's very unlikely.

Agree, we are in bonus territory now. Getting back to hampden in our year as holders is a good effort. I'm a bit confused as to why the hearts fans are lapping up celtic winning today. Once again their season is over in February and the biggest excitement left for them is hoping hibs don't win anything. We've made a far better attempt at holding onto the cup than they did in 2012 when they went out in the their first game.

A shame celtic won today, the panic over on keekback would have been quite amusing

I'm actually feeling confident against anyone we draw, we've got a good chance against anyone.

Might sound daft too but I honestly feel if anyone can take celtic out it'd be us

After struggling to stay awake for that borefest of a quarter-final between the Dons and the Jags, I hope we get Aberdeen. Didn't see anything to worry about if we play the way we can on the day.
    Keep celtic for the Final.

Yeah including me. I have a 5 hour round trip from Carlisle and go as often as i can . Thanks for positive comments. It is the day trippers that live near or even in Edinburgh that i would hope are being commented upon
