Better atmosphere than tincastle, better in every way.
Tonight rams the constant myth about their little dump having this great atmosphere.
We do it far better.

I've said this before and still stand by it.
Nothing compares when it's a big game.
Easter Road is a great stadium and night games especially bring the best atmospheres.
I just hope we get promotion..season ticket sales will then rise again.

I liked the announcer referring to "the biggest football stadium in Edinburgh." He must have said half a dozen times.

Nights like tonight are exactly why the new East was needed. Wonderful atmosphere, huge crowd and what a ****ing noise we made.
There are very few things better than a full raucous Easter Road under the floodlights.
Exceptional. I love the place.Follow the Hibs podcast, Longbangers, on Twitter (@longbangers)

There's been a few times over the years when a huge crowd at ER has left feeling deflated and disappointed but hopefully tonight's experience will make many hibees turn out in greater numbers for the remaining games of the season.
Come see Neil Lennon's Green and White Army!

Easter Road is a fantastic stadium. Been to many a ground three times the size that can't compare to the atmosphere of a full house in the Leith San Siro.

The whole ground was electric, especially the East.
To be fair, Hearts did try to sing but sort of ran out of, erm, songs.

On nights like these Easter Road is unbeatable, it generates a terrific atmosphere when its full ..... but I would add that I've been to a few games where the crowd has been in the 10,000 or so category and the atmosphere has still been brilliant. Its just these bog standard league games with no away support to speak of and where the game is flat that it doesn't do so well, but I'm willing to bet most grounds are like that.

The atmosphere tonight was absolutely electric from minute one! Amazing from all the fans. The noise when they were about to take their penalty as well was amazing! Gutted he scored it after a few attempts as a goal really flattered them.
