After the first leg we were declared hammer throwers by the Hearts fans. The better pitch at Easter Road was going to suit them down to the ground while they ran rings round us.

FAO Heart of Midlothian. Don't ever try and take us on at football again if you know what's good for you.

    Hear hear.

Lennon got the tactics right on their ploughed field. Played the ball long and pressed them high up the pitch. That was not a pitch for us to try and play football on.
Tonight, a lesson of how to play football attacking football on a good surface.

Huge credit to Lennon and the Players on a well executed plan over the two games.
Very proud to be a Hibs fan tonight.

That was the most deluded nonsense they came out with even for them to say their pitch was why they didn't win the first game. For players to say that was an absolute disgrace and the surprise that the likes of McGinn and shinnie can play it on the deck must have been a complete shock to them. As Cathy said they have overestimated how far they've come. No ******* Sherlock. Roasters the lot of them.

Couldn't agree more with this. Lennon got it spot on in both games.

Yup. And the match stats showed that they had over double our fouls count in that first leg. We had 11. Weirdos
