I assume their will be the usual cull of those hitting 20 to be replaced by youngsters coming through?

Thought O'Connor slotted in seamlessly at centre half. Isn't he 16? Gallantes doesn't look like he's ready for this level, must be doing something right in training.

Really enjoyed that game. Gullan and Shaw are a fairly lethal duo at this level, Innes Murray looks solid and Breen had a good 2nd half. Agree with poster above in that Gallantes looked a bit out of his depth, but that's mainly due to a lack of physical strength, though he looks very young so will have time to develop.

Need to get along to more of these, as it was good to watch.

I don't think he's been a regular for Stenhousemuir which would suggest probably not just yet.
Based on that I'd agree. Obviously a stand out in his peer group but maybe struggling against men?

Oli didn't play a lot for Stenhousemuir, oct//Nov due to being away with Scotland under 19 squad, and playing for our development team. Anyone who's been watching him, will see he's coming on leaps and bounds. Think he's started the last 3/4 games for Stenhousemuir, where available
Grant Holt is helping with the development squad, and I'm sure he's helped him in his Holt up play

    Great stuff!!!

Hope we can get the league more or less wrapped up soon enough and give these fantastic young prospects a run out in the first team.

Not sure he is all that far from a place in the 1st team squad. His touch is good, he brings others into play with knock downs and he can clearly finish well.

Maybe he can fill out a bit more to cope with the physical hits he'll get when he steps up but in my opinion he looks a very good prospect who I hope is in or near the 1st team next season.

if he is he is only just 16... he's a cracking talent. We have a real chance of having top quality CHs for the next 10 years.
