No doubt Spurs and the old bill will be delighted with the draw for the next round

Fair share of idiots in their support but a proper football club.
No affiliation to them whatsoever but glad milwall are having a good season. Their council tried to shaft them and they could have had to leave their stadium and probably their home city.

There is no threat to their continued occupation of the New Den although their community activities would have been curbed had the CPO of the surrounding land gone through.
Fortunately the CPO now seems to have been scrapped so maybe sense will prevail and the local authority will work with Millwall FC on a regeneration plan?

I for one, am pleased to see the likes of Millwall still in the FA Cup. hope they do well against the more well healed Tottenham guys, who on the other hand were my English heroes of the early 60's with the likes of Danny Blanchflower, Gilzean etc think the Spurs have been in mair cup finals than any other English club btw. but this could be the year for the 'wall boys the bunch o' crazy buggers they are

Spoke to a couple of them in Shades one night, they had been at ER for a game and were working in the docks in Leith, they seemed not to know about the Scottish roots and one of them said there was "no way the jocks had anything to do with the club" apart from that they were a nice pair of guys and had a good laugh with them.

Milwall themselves considered the proposed regeneration to be a real threat to their continued viability.
Yes the club have moved a lot (even across the river from their historic roots) but it has all been within a fairly small geographic area.
If the New Den becomes unviable, their prospects of finding another site in London are very slim.

Just one of about a dozen teams that have a nawty reputation (Leeds Stoke Cardiff West Ham Birmingham Chelsea etc etc). Still a large percentage of decent fans of course, and definitely get stigmatised for representing a working class dockyard area. (Hibs anyone?) Hope they beat Tottenham.

Millwall and West Ham have more morons in their support than any other club. They pride themselves on it.

They have a terrible reputation and its almost like the idiots in their fan base embrace it and pride themselves on it. They really do have a lot of ****bags that follow them. It's a shame for the normal fans, that their club is constantly dragged through the mud and it now has a bad label attached to it.
you only have to do a quick YouTube search on them and you'll find countless incidents of fighting, causing trouble in the streets etc, even fighting in the stands amongst themselves. I know every club has some idiots that follow them (ourselves included) but they really do seem to have more of these incidents than most and as I say, the idiots seem to embrace this reputation Millwall have.Last edited by 21.05.2016; 20-02-2017 at 12:55 PM.

Remember a big incident with them in the 90's when I was a teenager. Got my usual train down to Cardiff from Cwmbran where I lived. Got out the train station only to find a mob of them going nuts!! Police escort to the ground didn't stop them causing carnage on the way booting cars throwing stones etc.
Mental stuff. Will never forget it.
